For our last night in Athens my family settled on authentic Italian and we were not disappointed with our decision. We had the most delightful experience at V1935 Roof Garden. This restaurant truly stands out with its excellent atmosphere that transports you to a serene oasis amidst the bustling city. The rooftop setting provides a breathtaking view that perfectly complements the dining experience.
What truly sets V1935 apart is their unique offering of pasta and pizza options. The fact that these delectable dishes are crafted by a professional pizzaiolo, trained in Italy, speaks volumes about the authenticity and quality of the food. The flavors were rich, the ingredients fresh, and each bite was a symphony of taste.
Speaking of pizza, the pizzaiolo was not only skilled but also incredibly generous with sharing tips to elevate our at-home pizza-making endeavors. V1935 Roof Garden managed to provide not just a meal, but an experience that blended delectable food, a stunning view, and genuine expertise. Excellent food and thank you...
Read moreThis Restaurant belongs to a Hotel and is located in the 6th floor. You need to enter the tight Elevator which is Decades old to reach the Hotel. It makes sense to do a Reservation because the number of seats is limited. Fast we got the Menu from the friendly waiter. From the Menu I have ordered Pasta with prawns charged with 25 €. The other Main was Greek Salad (17 €) prepared in a bed of dough. The taste was good. The prawns inside the Pasta were deep frozen and of bad taste so I have returned it. Instead of it I ordered Pizza DIAVOLA ( Salami) charged with 18 €. What a pity that the Pizza was not crispy at all. The slices of Salami were swimming in Oil among the Cheese. If you want to pay with Credit Card you need to stand up to go to the Desk. Then the Lady ( female Boss?) has asked me if I want to give tip which I already have given to the waiter who has deserved it. In general the atmosphere is nice and if you don't have high expectations you can give this...

I originally gave 5 stars, but after thinking it over, I changed it to 4. For obvious reasons, I’m leaving my initial thoughts here as well.
As an Athenian, I believe that €20 for a personal pizza is very expensive and hard to justify. We paid €73 (including a 5% tip) for 2 pizzas, one beer, one bottle of water, and a simple pasta dish. Pricing definitely needs improvement.
That said, my opinion about the atmosphere and the staff remains extremely positive.

Great atmosphere! The two pizzas we ordered were really delicious and very close to italian cuisine. Overall, the staff was very friendly — clearly people who know how to make a proper pizza.
There were many tourists there too, which shows the place has earned a strong reputation. It’s not just popular with locals, but with visitors as well.
Prices are fairly reasonable, and I’d say it’s one of the best restaurants in the...
