I was in Ioannina for a couple of weeks in February and found myself returning to this place again and again. Wonderfully warm and civilised atmosphere - Erectus, i.e Homo Erectus, refers to a state of development, not arousal. Friendly - though not overbearingly so - staff. Drinks list featuring some fine regional wines and beers. A few of the items on the food menu are prohibitively expensive - my reason for subtracting a star on the food rating - but on the whole superbly prepared-and-presented dishes from quality ingredients at prices that are standard for good restaurants in the centre of town.

Starting from the atmosphere, beautiful space with good street view and nice interior. Staff was friendly, helpful, and always around. Now food wise, it's decent, surely not the best, and not worthy of the hype they've given it. Prices unfortunately do not really reflect the dishes, overpriced, truly sad thing. If they were to drop prices about 30 to 50% in some dishes, mayhe then, and only then, it may be worth it. Right now, I would advise against visiting. Truthfully, I can't really find a reason to reccoment it.

Αρχικά να τονίσω ότι είναι ενασ ωραίος χώρος στο κέντρο της πολης με ωραία ατμόσφαιρα σε τραβάει και για καφε αλλα και για φαγητο. Το προσωπικό ευγενεστατο και προθυμο να βοηθήσει. Τα υλικά σίγουρα καλής ποιοτητας. Οποτε σε ατμόσφαιρα και εξυπηρέτηση βάζω 4.5 και 5 αντιστοιχα. Πάμε τώρα στο φαγητό 1) λαχανιδα με γραβιέρα και βαλσαμικο σίγουρα θέλει βελτίωση ωραίο πιατο θα προτιμουσα φλιδες γραβιερας η ακόμα και παρμεζανας και σίγουρα περισσοτερο βαλσαμικο ήταν λίγο σχεδόν ανυπαρκτο 3/5. 2) κοτόπουλο πενες με ζωμό πολυ ωραίο γευστικό λίγο λιγότερο ζωμό θα ήθελα όμως να μην φέρνει τόσο σε σουποειδες πιατο 4.2/5 3) μπέργκερ προβατινας τρομερο το γιαουρτι με ανιθο ωραίο το ψωμάκι το μπέργκερ ψημένο όπως ζητήθηκε η ποσοτητα όμως απελπιστικά μικρή 3.5/5 4) πεστροφα με ρεβίθια και εσπεριδοειδή πολυ καλο πιατο αυτό ωραίο το ψάρι και τα ρεβυθια 4.6/5. Γενικά καλή προσπαθεια για νέο μαγαζί χρήζει βελτιωση. μου αρέσει που είναι η κουζίνα ανοιχτή κακό που δεν υπάρχουν γαντια και σκουφια σε αυτους που μαγειρευουν προσωπικα δεν με πειραζει αλλά όταν έχεις αυτές τις τιμές σίγουρα αυτή η κριτική πρεπει να γίνεται. Θα δώσω σίγουρα και δευτερη ευκαιρια να δοκιμάσω και αλλά πιατα αλλά προς το παρον ένα οβεραλ σε σχέση γεύσεων τιμών ειναι 3.6/5*

OUTSTANDING! UNIQUE decor, music and menu sets the vibe of an unforgettable experience of exquisite MELT IN YOUR MOUTH hand made dishes creatively PREPARED TRADITIONALLY mostly over FIRE. PROFESSIONAL and WELCOMING STAFF...CHEFS Thanasi and George along with Emanouela and Eleni are both exceptional in explaining historical and local food specialities offered in this unique stop!
