LUDOST cafe • bar — Restaurant in Ioannina Municipality

We spent the night in Ioannina on our tour and discovered this wonderful restaurant while strolling around in the evening. Even from the outside, it looks very inviting and inside you get the feeling that you are travelling back in time and ending up in a castle-like house, with lots of little details that you can discover everywhere. The staff were very friendly and were able to tell us a lot about the building. You can sit comfortably outside or inside and watch the lively life on the forecourt with a nice drink. We would love to come back when we are travelling...

A great place to sit down and have something to bite. The coffee was good the brunch was tasty and the portions large. The sweets were out of this world and I loved the portolalopita. Also serving biscuits with chocolate dip along with our coffees was a struck of genius. Prices were reasonable and staff were polite and helpful. There is a private car park really close that reduces having to walk for a long distance. Only downside is the rare diesel fumes of the lake taxi a few hundred...

The place have a nice design, a bit strange & different from the inside but really nice and shows a creative mind. The coffee was good, love the way it was served and loved more the fact that with the cookies you get with the coffee they serve you an espresso cup filled with chocolate :) other than that the service was nice, the WiFi was good and the location is in front of the lake.
