PETRA FLORA — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

We visited this place after running a Google search. There is a great variety of pizzas, spaghetti and other dishes. We enjoyed every moment of our visit UNTIL we asked for the check. We asked to pay separately via 2 different credit cards. They denied because they would have to pay VAT twice?!? I could hardly believe that they used such an excuse. The place is at one of the most tourist places in Halkidiki. Would they have used the same excuse if we were Americans or foreigners? Sorry, but you truly ruined our experience!! If you can bear the running costs, close it down or increase (even more)...

Pizza is frozen (from supermarket) and oven baked! No taste! We were waiting for about 40 min, because priority is delivery. Greek guests get quicker. All pizzas are different look and taste. Pizza are not like on photos or in menu! Take a look how Margarita and Pepperoni actually look, photos attached! Greek salad is also poor (bad tomato, not cold…). Definitely, some pizzas are frozen, some are homemade, but POOR TASTE! Avoid this place if you are hungry or expecting a solid quality and service! Good comments are...

The staff were good. The red wine was close to undrinkable. We chose different dishes which varied from ok to pretty awful. Oddly the starters and main courses were served at the same time. If the pasta dishes had more sauce it would be better. And Carbonara with Penne is really strange. It should be Spagetti ot Tagliatelle. Apparently the Pizza was ok. Serving local red wine, as most other restaurants do, would be good rather than the current undrinkable stuff. Not one to go back to...
