Restaurant Κυπαρίσσης — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

Unfortunately all of the bad reviews I read were true. The food was not good at all. We ordered the fried zucchini which were not crispy at all and were fried in very old and used oil, same goes for the fried calamari and the fried feta with honey which also barely had any honey. Only good thing I can say about the food was the plate my friend tried-beef mpiftekia. Although even then my friend was not fully pleased because she asked for rice instead of rice and even if the owner told us she can do it you can take a look at our plate and see for yourselves. Most of the staff was very kind and friendly but the son if the owner was ironic and rude when HE asked us about the food and we said it wasn’t good. We were a group of 10 people who wanted to have dinner. We waited quite a long time before someone took our order. When someone finally paid attention to us, we had to wait again for the food to arrive, which came out... one by one. The last dish to arrive was... pasta! The food was mediocre and tasteless (considering we were in Greece!). It felt like the famous Greek hospitality had disappeared, replaced by a more situational attitude. I don’t recommend saganaki, pizza and pasta. Due to the location, being on the beach, it seems the quality of the food no longer matters....

Unfortunately our time here was not a pleasant experience. It took over two hours for us to dine here and the server came to our table maybe 2 times, and only after we flagged them down. We didn’t get the bread that we ordered and our pizza was underwhelming at best. Paying the bill took an hour itself. The beautiful view unfortunately does not make up for the very low quality of service...
