The Boat House — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

From 1-5 stars Coffee quality: 2 ,coffee is good quality coffee for mainstream places. They serve a bottle of water too. I have asked whether they have alternative coffee blends but 2 waiters didn't catch my question. I believe they are in their summer vacay too :) no specialty coffee of course but much better than the coffee/bakery place just round the corner. View: 4, the view is marvelous, endless sea, some umbrellas below but all good Environment: 5, trendy place, for sure the most modern looking one from all in Possidi. Prices: 2, I personally take it as an expensive place, you pay for the view and shade which is very realistic for such business cases/they don't work all year round/4 euro for a single espreso and a bottle of water 500ml with their cost no more that 1 euro/electricity incl/ which at the end comes at 400% margin/without the cost for salaries and rent of course/. Probably if I used a sunbed the equation would be better :) Overall: I decided 3 stars because the whole experience is not only the quality and price of the drinks. Nice Bar, but very expensiv. Very unusal for Greece. 5 Euros for a small beer. Not again. The portions of food you can order are very little, are not usual for Greece. The salad on the picutre costs 8 Euros. In words: eight. Are you crazy? A Pizza Margherita on the photo is 10 Euros.

Dear Bartender, I understand that the costs rised a lot. I am not blind. But obviously in your Bar more than in the others. And as I could read in previous comments, your prices have been also before the war much higher to your competitors. And yes, your guessing was right, I am big fan of Greece and greek food. And because of that I was so much disappointed especially about the greek salad. It was an insult for all greek salads in Greece. We had plans to visit the boat house for lunch after our swim at the beach. We parked our car right in front of the boat house without blocking the access to it. A bully waiter came to convince us that it is illegal to park in front of the boat house - no signs of the ban or double lines. He encouraged us to park at the bend on the left (which is illegal!) After we challenged him he claimed that the supply vans won’t be able to access the boat house - they have their own generous car park right next door. He then claimed that he is asking us not to park there for the good of the business. It was more than obvious that he was claiming that parking our car there it would block the view to the boat house- there were more cars parked there. I can’t judge the food or the service but the waiter’s behaviour put us off from going...
