Our host recommended we come here to try the food and such a great surprise. To be able to walk outside the busy main pedestrian street and step into a world of peaceful relaxation and Greek food palace of tastes. If you are in Lefkada YOU HAVE to come here and make sure you arrive before the busy dinner times (after 19:30-22:00). My recommended courses, if you want to try: 1. Start with a zucchini balls plate (contains 6 pieces) 2. Then try any dish with shrimps and pasta (fresh) or go for a dorata fish (you get to choose the fresh fish from their fridge, and they will cook the exact one you picked) 3. For desert you can try one of the two options: yoghurt with honey or yoghurt with bitter cherries. Even the location itself is beautiful (yes, this is for you photographers/Instagram creators!). We went there for food. There was quite the long waiting queue, so we already knew that it was worth it. Even in waiting they were very transparent about the waiting time, and we could have a drink and a look at the menu. Once we got seated the restaurant look very beautiful and cosy sitting outside. We felt right at home. The service and warmth that we received from the staff is its own experience by itself. It is very scarce to see people being so kind and passionate about what they do. Let’s get to the food 🥘!My girlfriend is vegetarian and I am a meat lover. We are rarely both satisfied when going out for food. I was very glad to see that she had as many options as I had. Let’s keep it simple the food was delicious, authentic (for me as a Greek), with a great variety of dishes. We ordered a lot for two people. Everything was delicious.

We were searching for vegan meal and found this gem. At the tavern there is a nice view overlooking the beach. My wife ordered vegan meatballs and I ordered vegan gyros. I was expecting something kebab-like, but got a proper dish with 3 vegan sausages, fried fresh potatoes, pita bread, some fresh onions, tomato and to top it all off vegan mayonnaise! Both dishes were amazing! I have to add that meatless sausages and vegan meatballs were very meat-like (both taste and consistency) which is what we love and prefer compared to vegetable patties and such. Portions are large and the price is average. We would recommend this place to all vegans! Also the waiter was very kind and helped us with charging our phone 😁👍 a fair notice is that they are very popular and you might have to wait for a table.

We have been coming here for years and love everything about this traditional Greek restaurant. It is so good it is hard not eat here every night in our one month stay. Fabulous location with breathtaking views with excellent service from Kristos,Niki and the amazing kitchen team. This is a family run restaurant and standards are consistently excellent. The chef who is the owner sets a very high standard. The fresh locally source ingredients from fish, calamari,salads, chorta and a wide variety of meat dishes make this restaurant stand out. Even their bread comes from a tiny hilltop bakery that has it baked in a wood oven! Do not hesitate to go here and be prepared to wait as no reservations are taken and it is very popular.

My full recommendation for this restaurant! We have been there three times during our 10-day stay. Great atmosphere overlooking the sea, pleasant staff and above all very tasty food. Pictures show pork steak, greek salad, tzatziki, grilled calamary, kebab with spicy tomato sauce and sardines. All dishes were great. I would recommend to try their starters also, beans and fried zucchini balls. Our bill was never over 50 euros (drinks included - beers, wine). Word of advice, greek salad is so big that it can easily pass as a dish on it's own or for two people to share as a side. There is almost always a waiting line for the restaurant with waiting time of approx. 20-30 min, but it is definitely worth it.

Hands down the restaurant in Agios Nikitas! Too bad we discovered this place on our last night, it is hidden away behind all the shops and restaurants on the main strip. We discovered it while browsing on google and after seeing the food on the photos looked better than the food at the other restaurants, I just had to eat there! There was a wait and they were busy on a Friday night, but it was well worth it. Service was great, people who work there were beyond nice and welcoming, the house wine was awesome and the food was the best food I’ve had in the past week here! I wish I had found out about this place on the first day here and dine there every day!
