Sapfo — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

We’ve had the chance to dine at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, and Sapfo absolutely deserves to be in that league. This was easily the best seafood in Greece (and my husband travelled Greece for the last 20 years).

The sashimi could rival top places in Japan and the octopus, carpaccio, and calamari were perfectly prepared - it was just delicious and full of flavor. Not to forget the beautiful presentation. Don’t miss the Taramas - first I was hesitant to chose it but we did take it after the recommendation of the waiter - and what should I say: it was exceptional.

The service was outstanding and the staff were not only friendly, but truly knowledgeable and passionate about the food. Their recommendations were spot on and made the whole experience even more special.

Very nice restaurant with a good view at the front line of the beach. We ordered the seafood carbonara wich came with fish and the shrimp orzo. Carbonara unfortunately was not at all carbonara, it was too sweet for my liking i feel like the sweet chili does not go well with the other components. A much simpler sauce would have been perfect. Also one of the pieces of the fish was a bit raw and undercooked on one side. The orzo however was amazing, super flavorful and tasty, with fresh tomato sauce and spring onion and fresh shrimp, if I could I would eat this every day. We came here for dinner and really enjoyed the experience. This is a beachfront restaurant with fresh seafood. You can go in the back and choose which fish you want and they charge by kilo. We went with the seabream and they filet it completely. It was extremely fresh. I highly recommend their fish soup. It was absolutely delicious and different than the traditional kind (way better in my opinion) The people there are so kind as well. There was a man and his young child who came in playing music asking for change and instead of getting angry that they were soliciting in their restaurant the staff was donating money to them.
