I recently visited Gelato Follia with friends and unfortunately, we had a very serious issue. One of our group members is diabetic, and we specifically searched for a gelato without sugar or harmful sweeteners. We inquired about the sweeteners used, explaining the medical condition in detail. The staff assured us that the only options suitable for our needs were the 0% Vanilla and the Bitter Dark Chocolate flavors.

Our diabetic friend chose the Bitter Dark Chocolate, and one hour later experienced a drastic increase in blood glucose levels, reaching nearly 300 mg/dL despite multiple insulin injections to counter it. Fortunately, they had only ordered a small cup. A larger portion could have led to hospitalization.

This is an extremely serious matter that cannot be overlooked. We explicitly explained the situation, yet we were given misleading information. The rest of us enjoyed the gelato, which was tasty, and we had no other issues. However, this incident with the diabetic-friendly options was unacceptable...

How great can Ice Cream stores really be? A great ice cream "gelato", nice and fresh and great service. My wife and I were visiting Gelato Follia and after walking away I left my cell phone on the counter, proceed to the sea port and jumped on the excusion ship to head back to Athens. My daughters phone rings, and it was the counter person from the Gelato Folio, who then walked from the store to the boat to deliver the phone to a captain on a plank. No joke. Mission Impossible stuff, shows the true colors of the people of Greece and most specifically to this wonderful lady and the staff at Gelato Follio! We will be back and will continue to recommend this...

Lovely little creperie with amazing crepes, waffles, and delicious ice cream. The man who served us was incredibly helpful and knew everything about the ice cream! He helped us pick the perfect scoop to pair with our waffles, and it was spot on! Quiet, traditional place with a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

Not sure why, but this island revolves around the pistachio. Everything here is full of it. We were recommended to taste their flavored pistachio ice cream (how could we not?). Well. Really delicious ice cream. Not the best I've ever tasted, but definitely delicious.
