A local gem!
We stopped in at Elia Resto-Grill in Sisi after viewing the close-by ruins on a chilly Thursday afternoon in January. Completely surprised to find this modern and very lovely restaurant was open.
The chicken souvlaki was tender, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious with a generous portion of fresh mixed green salad and potatoes. We really liked the flavour and vegetables in their tzatziki as well and it paired really well with the meat.
Manos, the owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We appreciated his attention to our gluten-free needs - he even brought out yogurt with honey for my hubby as he was not able to enjoy the chocolate-dipped cookie they offer as their free dessert.

The food is wonderful and all freshly prepared. It makes a wonderful change to see every dish made from scratch with no prepared stock bases. To see the chefs creating a Ragu for the freshest Pasta Neapolitan made the meal even more enjoyable.
Prices are really good and the customary free deserts were stunning. For a family of three with a two alcoholic drinks and a soft drink it came to just over 30 Euros which is amazing.
