I had such a wonderful experience at this Greek restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The gentleman working at the front was so warmhearted—he didn’t try to push us to over-order, but instead honestly told us that one salad and one gyros would be enough for two people. That kind of honesty and care is rare. I also have special dietary needs, and they handled them very carefully, which I really appreciated. The food itself was excellent—authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. After our meal, they even surprised us with sweet, juicy watermelon for free. To top it off, when we tried to leave a tip, they refused, saying, “As long as you have a good experience, that’s enough.” This is true Greek hospitality, both in the food and in the people. This Taverna is AMAZING! I went there with a group of 20 people from Switzerland and we all agreed that the food, the service, the ambiente, the hospitality and the wine was extraordinary. And the prices are lower than in most places in Elounda. Some of my group went to Olous Taverna 4 times during their stay and were completely satisfied every time. The best meal we have had in greece, unbelievably delicious and fresh tasting with a wonderful atmosphere and with added views and breeze from the water nearby. The owner and staff are also very friendly. The meze and sea bass were the best I've had.
