Olio Italiano ristorante — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

So this one attracted us as it had a genuine wood fired pizza oven. This always adds extra flavour. We ordered peach ice tea and a local beer. They had run out of mythos as it is near the end of the season. I ordered a large inferno pizza with cheese toast. Also we ordered carbonara. The waiter also bought us some warm pitta bread with olives and olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The service was perfect and they kept checking we were OK. After the meal the waiter bought us some small chocolate cake as a freebie. Definitely coming here again in the new season. Very good...

We were recommended to this restaurant. We wanted some good Italian food and sadly disappointed. Seafood pasta was over cooked…Tasted like it was boiling for 4 hours. Pork on the bone came out ice cold, clearly it was cooked and then they tried to reheat and didn’t reheat it fully. Service was ok, they didn’t take interest in how much we liked or disliked the food. It was placed on the table and that was it. I would say that value for money it was a bit expensive. The salad plate was almost empty. 3 dips and it was gone. The pizza size was acceptable but the toppings were scarce 8 piece pizza with 3 slices of bacon and not enoughcheese to keep it together. It felt like eating fresh bread. In general you get the feeling that they're trying to make a profit out of giving less in portions. And of course as our bill of 42€ did not fulfill their standards so we were not served sweets after asking...
