Sirocco — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

Ok, we love the pizza and ambient there and we come to this Restaurant since 2010. Previously it was always perfect. This time we came in late October 2021 at around 19:00, many tourists already left the island, so it was really low season end. We came into the Pizzeria, it was complete empty and all tables had a "RESERVED" sign on the table. I was already thinking about leaving. But I asked the bartender, and then the owner, a woman, came and said she might have a table, but only until 20:30 Ok...puh, that was luck. Another german couple came a few minutes later, same procedure, she does not have a free table but she has one more until 20:30 I was expecting many more people comming soon. We ate, we finished our meal..nobody came. Restaurant still empty beside 2 tables.

We then decided to have a cocktail, the were not cheap ones, like 7 Euros a cocktail. I am going to say now, that those were the most tasteless cocktails we had every had. Like those ready-made bottles. They only had the taste of lime or sweet sirup. Painfull. Thats why I give it 2 stars now, although the Pizza is 5 stars.

We left at 21:00 and no other guests every came. It was maybe a trick by the owner to keep people from sitting too long at a table, but it is a cheap trick and there is no need to do that in low season. We should have left the restaurant at 8 and do not order a...

During our 6-night stay in Agios Nikolaos, we stumbled upon this absolute gem of a pizza restaurant, beautifully covered in bougainvillea and overlooking the marina. The atmosphere is magical — every piece of artwork inside was created by the owner during the off-season, adding such a personal and creative touch.

The pizzas were cooked fresh right in front of us and were absolutely delicious — some of the best we’ve ever had. The service was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. Out of everywhere we ate in town, this was our favourite spot, and we loved it so much we chose to return for our final night.
