Came in for food at about 9pm on a Saturday. We struggle for Veggie/Vegan options so when we saw they had a specific section dedicated to these options we were excited. Especially as it has good reviews.
We ordered Vegan Mousaka and Spaghetti Neapolitana and both arrived and were really poor. The spaghetti tasted of nothing. It reminded me of something a student would make with spaghetti and a couple of Tomatoes, no taste at all. My partner had the Moussaka and it was the same just bland.
We mentioned it to the staff politely when he asked how it was and said; “honestly it’s poor, it’s got no taste” - his reply was “it’s because it’s the vegetarian option”. Stupid reply to a frustrated customer.
The lads who were serving were a couple of lads who looked young enough to still be in school. Wearing T-shirts and shorts, didn’t give off professional restaurant vibes at all. Their lack of care confirmed that alongside the poor food.

Read moreDuring our recent visit to Corfu, we had the pleasure of dining at "Food for the Soul," and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a waiter who was not only polite but also incredibly friendly and engaging. His warm personality and genuine interest in our trip made us feel right at home. He even took the time to ask about our plans on the island and offered his honest opinions on the best beaches to visit—a personal touch that we truly appreciated.
We opted for the grilled calamari and grilled sea bass, accompanied by grilled vegetables. Every bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the freshness and quality of the ingredients.
It's not often that you find a restaurant that nails both the food and the service, but "Food for the Soul" did just that. The combination of delicious cuisine and exceptional hospitality made this a dining experience to remember. If you're in Corfu, it's a definite 10/10 for taste...
Read moreLooks great from the outside, had what we were looking for on the menu. Young lads serving really have no idea what they are doing. Half clearing tables. Ordered a starter which came out in minutes with a portion of stale bread with nothing to put on it. Asked for butter, was told they didnt have any? Halfway through the starter 1 main dish came out the other one was 10 mins later but they were serving other tables? The young lad came over midway through our meal and said, sorry we make mistake, we only take cash. I said hadn't got enough with me to which he said go to the ATM. I told him I wasn't doing that and he just said "oh". When it came to pay, you got the itemised bill after you'd paid and funnily enough, a card machine was available. Overall not a...
