Fresh — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Fresh is the real deal. We have stayed here in Gouvia, Corfu for a whole week and we’ve been here atleast 4 times across those seven nights and every time it has been top class food and service from the owner and the waitresses.

The food is the best I have ever eaten and it’s not even close. It’s called Fresh for a reason and you really can tell it why, everything is done on the day whilst you wait. No corners are cut and that is clear. If I could recommend something it would be the BBQ Chicken burger, and a close second would be the Red Hot chilli burger. Both are as good as each other, you will not be disappointed.

The drinks are also on another level, Fresh boasts a wide variety of Milkshakes, Alcoholic drinks and fresh juices as well as soft drinks. If I had to recommend something, try the milkshakes, you will not regret it.

Fresh was set up in 2010 and cross those 15 years, the owner and his wonderful staff have mastered both their culinary skills as well as their charisma. They are all so passionate about the food they make and you can really tell.

The desserts were nothing to sneeze at either, again boasting an impressive combination of homemade ice creams with your choice or pancakes or waffles. Me and my partner had some pancakes on a separate visit to Fresh and they… were… huge… and thick. A proper pancake by any account. We could have shared one between us quite easily had we know what we were in for, but they were delicious.

And Fresh doesn’t forget, every time we went back whether we were popping in for a takeaway dish or sitting down for a proper feast the staff and owner never forgot who we were and what we liked. Which added to their already...

We visited fresh last week whilst on a 4 week holiday to Corfu. Initially my friends collected a take away and brought it to our villa. It was wonderful! We then decided a few days later to go and sit in for lunch and wow what can I say! From the warm welcome we got, to the information regarding the menu and where it was sourced to how it was being cooked was exceptional!

My son has autism and I requested the food to come seperate and cooked extra crispy and this is what he got, nothing was a trouble. I had the buttermilk chicken fillet burger which was so delicious and juicy, would highly reccomend! The 2 members of staff, which I can’t remember your names, sorry! were so friendly and warm and made us feel at home. They treated us like old friends which was just a lovely experience.

Everything is cooked fresh to order, the orange juice is all squeezed fresh on site too. You can make any adaptations to whatever item you select on the menu, like I said, nothing is a problem.
