Unfortunately, the manager of restaurant ruined all the beautiful atmosphere. We came at 6:30PM and when he opened the door the first word was "sorry drescode". Even not hello, welcome etc. At the entrance, there is a card with drescode rules. Unfortunately, I could not find it online while booking a table. It says no flip-flops, shorts or bikini. We both had long elegant trousers, I had long shirt and my bf only black tanktop. I could understand it all, but PLEASE treat ALL guests equally! After we decided to stay, there were so many couples with very short shorts, flip-flops and he did not even say a word to them. When I asked him, if my bf could change, he said first there is bathroom downstairs but at the and he let to do it at the rooftop bathroom. He said it is a rule of hotel manager and it is 5 stars restaurant. The food was good and service tried to rescue whole situation trying to apologie for the boss. I do not like drama, especially on holidays but while leaving we just said to him that is not fine to be treated much worse that other guests he just said we do not have to come back.
It is very pity, because the restaurant is beautiful, with amazing view but that person makes very bad atmosphere. He is very unpolite, rude and make the stay at restaurant very unpleasant. Instead of apologise he just said thank you bye. I do not think so, this is a 5 star...
Read moreIt’s a lovely spot for dinner - views are great. Timing is great and pricing is reasonable. Service I found to be very mixed, original server wasn’t actually listening to me with his attention elsewhere and turned to say “what?” Cushions on the seats are the kind you find in pool bars. That rubbery material that makes you hot. Prawns in tomato for main - tasty but the sauce was filled with baby prawns which were overbooked, like a frozen seafood packet from Lidl. Without bread this wouldn’t have been filling. Fillet steak was a very good cut - though I asked for rare and it came cold and no blood at all, perhaps blue or just a different way of cooking though I get my steak rare every time and this is the first time it’s been served like this to me. It was taken away and heated, though only the potatoes seemed to have been heated. I still ate it though but be clear how you would like your steak cooked. Coming to the bill we were charged €111. Without properly checking the bill - as it’s obviously in Greek - we just assumed it to be right and paid, but with properly checking our individual receipts - drinks, starter, mains and more drinks - it was actually €75. Server explained (after questioning our maths) that our table was confused with another. Whatever the reason this shouldn’t happen. It was of course refunded. Overall a disappointing final...
Read moreIt’s the first time that I have been treated that bad in a restaurant and someone made me feel so unwelcome !! The roof top manager didn’t want us to stay at a table with a nice view saying it was all reserved ( 20 tables at least free) but no one sat there during the whole 1h30 we stayed there . I wanted to take a picture of the view and he objected saying “it’s not possible due to covid rules “ while other clients were over there , it’s an open air terrace rooftop and the marketing is based on the view . Totally out of subject then . I don’t know if all the lake of respect and attitude was because we were not wearing pants or shirt .... we were rejecting in a corner of the terrace . Then after ordering the food , we were served the drinks and the bill was also brought to the table even before getting the food . I never saw that anywhere else in the world nor in Greece. The waiter was trying to have a answer but was just able to say that it’s the Greek law ... lol , right !! So RUDE AND IMPOLITE Food was correct but I will never come back to that disrespectful place were the staff is the...
