Il Vesuvio — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

This was the worst gastro experience of my life.

We did not like the food - I lived in Italy, so I really know how the italian cuisine should look and taste like.

We complained to the waiters, that the pizza is raw and carbonara is tasteless. We took a bite of each meal. We wanted to leave and not pay for the food which we did not like and did not eat.

We refused to pay the bill - they said that they will call the police. So we came inside to talk to the manager. He started to scream at us what do we think we know about food and where are we from. He was aggressive and in moments I was afraid he would hit us, that is how offensive he was. They did not want let us go and held us back in there until we paid.

How dare you treating customers like that?

Please - if you want to have some good food and a good atmosphere avoid this place at any cost.

Really nice Italian restaurant. Great location and plenty of seating inside and outside. Great menu with big selection of appetisers, pastas, seafood, pizzas, meats etc. Food was delicious. We had Greek salad and Scamorza for starter. All fresh and tasty. For mains we had Scaloppine Marsala ( veal in wine sauce), fried calamari and Pappardelle ala Boscoaoila (pasta with mushrooms and dried ham). All was beautifully flavoured and presented I must say. Please read it this comment will save you 20€ per person.First I see negative comments but I did'nt believe it and we go there we were very hungry and we take 4 cheese pasta,4 cheese pizza and fried Calamaria pasta has nothing it is very regular and 4 cheese pizza is very big and satisfying it is good but for CALAMARİA ı can't say the same thing it did'nt fried it taste like a plastic I'd rather eat plastic bottle top in the end waiter sit us a bad place table is on a bad ground the table is unbalanced and we take the hot air from air conditioning and Lemonade taste like nothing it doesn't have any flaour.İN THE END PLEASE DON'T GO THERE THİS WİLL SAVE YOUR 1...
