Restaurant - cocktail bar HORIZON — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Beautiful view of the post, coastline and out to sea. We were sat by the open view, and given warm bread with butter and olive oil. For starters I had vine leaves filled with rice, which were really soft and gorgeous. My wife tried cheese pie or of curiosity, and this was local spiced cheese in delicate pastry, very tasty.

For main course we both went for pork chops and shared a Greek salad (always have Greek salad!). The chops were bigger than I've ever seen before! They also came with chunky chips and rice. All the food was amazing, and we were offered more bread a couple of times. Needless to say, we were completely full and struggled to finish, and I have a big appetite.

I thoroughly recommend this restaurant, probably best to get there before sunset to really...

Well, our visit was perfect. We ordered sword fish, grilled chicken, and fried anchovy, apart from the sides and salads, and all of it was very good, tasty, and large in amount. We ate it all and were super happy and full. We asked for extra olive oil to bread and it was immediately provided free of charge. The lady who served us was super welcoming, and servicing was really quick. We got our starters immediately, and enjoyed the restaurant's nice atmosphere and spectacular bay view while waited for the main course. The interior of the restaurant is truly warm, unique, and original, something we liked very much. Prices surprised us - we ate more, better quality, and way cheaper than in some other restaurant the day before....

Stopped off for a quick lunch while on a drive. Well known for its views across the bay it did not disappoint plus it was easy to park nearby. We had a cool table next to an open window and it was lovely. There's a lot of choice on the menu here and it's homely food and a welcoming place. There were a number of locals in there I assume as they were all known to the owner and that's always a good sign. All very friendly and helpful . Steps next to the restaurant take you straight down to the beach. If you're looking for somewhere to have leisurely lunch with views...
