We accidentally discovered Nikos Restaurant on the very first day of our Corfu holiday — it’s located right next to the most beautiful beach in Paleokastritsa, and the view is simply stunning, both during the day and at sunset. After trying many places across the island, we can honestly say this was the best restaurant of our entire trip. We kept coming back — again and again! I truly believe Nikos has one of the best kitchens in Corfu — I even told the team this in person, but they just smiled modestly :) Instead of the classic Greek salad, we ordered the Corfu Salad — it was so exciting and flavorful! I highly recommend it — the combination of local ham and kumquat, a regional specialty, was absolutely delicious. The Stuffed Calamari is another must-try — filled with a unique local sauce that I later saw served in other places too. The portion was huge! Don’t skip the starters — our favorite was the Tarama, a creamy and flavorful fish roe dip that we ended up ordering every time. One of the highlights was definitely the Prawn Saganaki — rich flavor, generous portion, absolutely amazing! The Grilled Octopus was sensational as well, perfectly cooked and served with a fantastic pink peppercorn garnish on the side. Of course, the Tzatziki is a must, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was heavenly. Also — don’t miss the house wine! It was surprisingly good and paired perfectly with the food. The background music is classic Greek, adding a warm and authentic atmosphere to the experience. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel right at home.

During my recent visit to Palokastritsa, I had the pleasure of dining at a charming seaside restaurant with the beach below and the Palokastritsa monastery standing in the distance. The restaurant's ambiance is refined yet welcoming, perfect for enjoying a peaceful and pleasant meal. The staff is extremely courteous and attentive, greeting you with a smile and making you feel instantly at ease. The menu offers a variety of dishes, primarily seafood, all fresh and prepared with high-quality ingredients. We starts with a Greek salad, some potatoes and the typical Greek xaxiqi sauce. We order Orzo Octopus and Tomato Sauce. A rich and flavorful dish, with perfectly cooked orzo and tender, succulent octopus, all wrapped in a thick and tasty tomato sauce. Personally, I found the sauce to be a bit abundant for my taste, but it did not detract from the overall quality of the dish. 2 types of fish Grilled with Vegetables(red snapper and another i dont remember dhe name 🙈)The grilled fish was cooked to perfection. The accompanying vegetables, lightly seasoned, were fresh and well-paired with the fish. And a grilled squid is brilliant ,huge portion. Accompanied by an excellent local white wine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Palokastritsa. The combination of an unparalleled view, excellent service, and delicious dishes makes this place a must-visit.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been in the world! Every part of this restaurant is perfect: location, food, staff, atmosphere and prices. Menu is big, so you can find different options od local Greek food, seafood and desserts. Chef is making the food incredibly tasty, I don't know how they are doing it, maybe the reason is the very fresh ingredients and love to cooking. The restaurant is placed right at the Beach in the lagoon, so it has amazing view on the lagoon and caves. The waiters are very nice, after 1st visit we knew each other names, and waiters are welcoming us very time we visit like we knew each other for a long time. Special thanks to Dimitris for making us feel like a home and lots of fun time! Hope we will come back later! Cheers from Dmitry and Alesia đŸ˜»

Came here after a long day at the beach. I chose this place because it is recommended by a lot of bloggers. However, I was very disappointed with the food. We ordered the calamari and the mussels. The calamari was not fresh at all! Not only was it not warm, but it was extremely hard to chew, almost inedible. I normally love salty foods, and so for me to complain and say that the mussels were very salty, that must say something. The mussel sauce was pretty much all salt.

On top of all this, about 4-5 hours later, I go back to my hotel and my stomach feels absolutely terrible! I am super nauseous and spent the next 3 hours vomiting every 10 minutes. The mussels were what I vomited to be exact. It's like my body was not accepting of the food. If I did not have Gravol at hand, I'm not sure how I would have survived the night.

This place is definitely not what I expected it to be and unfortunately will not be returning again. If you want a good fresh meal, I highly recommended Nausica Taverna... their food is fresh, amazing and delicious! It's only a 5...
