I can’t say enough good things about AsproMavro in Chania! I ordered a custom birthday cake from them, and what they created absolutely blew everyone away. The cake was a bold, luxurious black with gold details and featured edible gold spheres, a gold macaron, and even two mini liquor bottles (Jack Daniel’s and Bacardi) as part of the design—complete with vibrant “29” candles. It was edgy, fun, and full of personality, exactly what I was hoping for!

Not only was the design flawless and creative, but the cake itself tasted incredible—moist, rich, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. It wasn’t just a showstopper to look at, but also a truly delicious dessert.

The team at AsproMavro were lovely to work with—attentive, professional, and clearly passionate about their craft. They took all my ideas and elevated them into something extraordinary.

Staff were friendly. The ekmek kadaifi, the chocolate mouse, and the baklava style sweets were nice. The mille feuille with fresh strawberries was okay but had only one half strawberry, on top. The real let down were the half dozen different small cream desserts. Some reviews here claim the cream was stale. I'm not sure but it certainly tasted stale, and not just the cream, also the dough, and not just for one dessert variety but for all these half dozen that we tried. I don't know what the throughput of this place is but it might make more sense to offer less choice but...

After seeing Aspro advertisedon Facebook, I had to come and find it. Beautifully crafted and designed desserts on display when you walk in, with very kind and welcoming staff members. After buying a couple of desserts, a staff member said I must try one of their coffees, and she wanted to see my reaction. No surprise, the coffee was delicious, and she let me sample a little pastry. Beautiful. Aspro bake and design cakes and goods for every occasion, and also told me they deliver their goods too!
