We visted Chania to celebrate my wife´s birthday and stayed in villa Claude. Vivian was absolutely amazing and we felt very welcome even before our arrival at the Villa. She took such great care of us. As a matter of fact I have never in my life met another host as good as her <3 We absolutely loved the apartment and treated and cleaned it as it had been our own. We love to cook food during our vacations but sadly the equipment in the kitchen in Claude left a lot to be desired. Very worn out pans and pots, unsharpened knives, broken chopping board (which had probably been cleaned in the dishwasher several times) etc. The sandwich grill was filthy. The pillows on the chairs outside were dirty and outdated as was the bedcover in the bedroom. Why not wash or change these on a regular basis. The IKEA furniture in the living room was also quite uncofortable to sit in. The criticism above is not to be taken as a complaint but instead as a suggestion about what could be improved during the "off season" slow months ahead.

The villa is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the old town, harbour and local beach. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. Vivian, our host, couldn't have been more helpful. She gave us lots of information on nearby things to do, beaches etc. and also recommended (and booked for us) a lovely restaurant that had traditional live greek music. The villa was very clean and comfortable and the pool area was very welcome for the times when we weren't out and about. All in all we had a really good time and would thoroughly...
