⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful time at Hotel Lefka Ori! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home with their kindness and warm hospitality. Our room was excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with a modern bathroom, a cozy bed, and even a fantastic hairdryer (a small detail that made a big difference!). We also had our own balcony with sitting chairs, the perfect spot to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee in the morning.
One of our favorite features was the lovely shaded seating area right at the entrance. It’s a quiet, cool, and relaxing spot where you can sit, enjoy the morning breeze, and chat over coffee before heading out for the day.
The location couldn’t be better. It’s a straight, easy walk into the heart of beautiful Chania downtown, where there’s so much to explore—countless restaurants, cafés, shops, and plenty of entertainment. Whether you’re strolling along the old harbor or enjoying the vibrant nightlife, everything is close by, yet the hotel still feels calm and peaceful when you return.
Overall, Hotel Lefka Ori truly exceeded our expectations. Between the comfortable rooms, welcoming staff, and perfect location, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended—we can’t wait...
Read moreI stayed at Lefka Ori 3 nights at the end of September 2023: it is very conveniently located at 5-minutes walk from the KTEL Bus station and at 10- or 15-minutes walk from anything else in Chania downtown. |Lefka Ori is affordable and decent accommodation with a strong and secure WiFi Internet connection. |My room was not very spacious but the furniture and the bathroom were of good quality and clean. I have also appreciated that there were several outlets and one of the outlets had already an adaptor for UK plugs inserted in it.|The owner is a very nice person: I had told him I would arrive at 23.30 (11.30 pm) and he waited for me to check me in - Moreover he speaks English perfectly.|Lefka Ori is an ideal accommodation if you want to stay in Chania to visit the city or need to be based in Chania to organise hikes and tours in the region.|Of course, given the central location of the Hotel, the area is a little bit noisy, but in my opinion this is unavoidable if you want to stay in Chania downtown and - unless you are extremely intolerant to any kind of noise - this drawback is vastly compensated for by the upsides of the convenient position, good quality and...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also several disappointing factors. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location is also quite convenient, being not far from the city center.
However, there were a number of issues. The hotel is located far from the beach, which was inconvenient. The room itself was very small, especially considering the high price. Speaking of which, the cost was extremely high compared to the quality of the room and overall experience.
For the same price, I’d rather stay in a nearby country like Turkey, where the value for money is much better. We also faced a problem with the towels during our stay. For two days, we only had one towel in the room, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, there were some insects in the room (as shown in the attached photo).
In conclusion, although the staff was friendly and the location central, the small room, towel issue, insects, and high prices left us feeling...
