A Culinary Revelation at 360 Fine Dining – I have travelled the globe, seeking out culinary excellence in every corner, it is rare to find an establishment that truly captivates and delights on every level. My recent visit to 360 Fine Dining, nestled within the exquisite Chania Flair Boutique Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, was precisely one such occasion – a truly unforgettable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone with a discerning palate and an appreciation for the art of gastronomy.
From the moment we stepped into the elegant, understated space, the promise of something special was palpable. Despite the quietude of the restaurant, which perhaps speaks more to the exclusive nature and investment required for such an experience than to its quality, the atmosphere was perfectly poised for an intimate culinary journey.
To commence our repast, we indulged in the Celery Root and the Sweet Potato starters. The celery root, with its intriguing blend of strawberry, beetroot, roasted hazelnut, balsamic vinegar, and basil oil, was a symphony of earthy sweetness and bright acidity, each component playing a crucial, harmonious role. The sweet potato, featuring smoked eel, dry cheese anthotyros, crème fraîche, fried trahanas, and mizuna, was equally compelling – a masterful play on textures and a bold yet balanced flavour profile that truly whetted the appetite. These dishes were not merely appetisers; they were declarations of culinary intent, showcasing a profound understanding of flavour pairing and presentation.
For our main courses, the Lamb Fricassee and the Fish Fillet (specifically, the sea bass) were chosen, and both proved to be exemplary. The Lamb Fricassee, a rich and comforting dish elevated by cream of greens, avgolemono foam, and burnt leek, was a testament to classic technique reinterpreted with contemporary finesse. The lamb was meltingly tender, and the accompanying elements provided a beautiful contrast and depth. The sea bass was impeccably cooked – flaky, moist, and bursting with fresh flavour, perfectly complemented by its delicate accompaniments of peas, celery root, beurre blanc, and caviar. Each mouthful was a revelation, a testament to the kitchen's precision and commitment to quality ingredients.
Beyond the exquisite food, the service at 360 Fine Dining was, simply put, second to none. Our server, Aspasia, was an absolute revelation. Her attentiveness was remarkable, anticipating our needs with a graceful intuition that enhanced every moment of our evening. She navigated the dining room with an air of professional warmth and efficiency, ensuring that our experience was not just seamless, but truly incredible. Her dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction.
While the price point undoubtedly positions 360 Fine Dining as a luxurious indulgence, I can only implore fellow gourmands to view it as an investment in an unparalleled culinary adventure. Every dish was a delight, every mouthful a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs. This is not merely dining; it is an experience to be savoured, discussed, and remembered long after the final course.
My visit to 360 Fine Dining was a resounding triumph, and I departed with a deep appreciation for the artistry and dedication on display. It is, without doubt, a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional and truly memorable...
Read moreWe recently enjoyed an exquisite five-course meal at this remarkable restaurant, and we can't recommend it enough. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing the effort and artistry behind the culinary creations.
Accompanying our meal was a bottle of the renowned "Domaine Porto Carras" 1993 red wine. Its exquisite taste and complex notes truly lived up to its reputation as one of the best red wines in Greece.
The service was impeccable. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and professional, enhancing our dining experience with their attentive care. The restaurant manager went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, making our visit feel even more special. He also took the time to teach us about the history of the 1993 wine and explained its notes, making the experience even more enriching.
To our surprise, he also gifted us a Polaroid photo of ourselves along with a lovely handwritten note, which added a personal touch that we truly appreciated. As if that weren’t enough, we were delighted to receive a beautiful cocktail delivered to our room afterward, capping off an already memorable evening.
This restaurant left a lasting impression, and we will undoubtedly return for another unforgettable evening.
Thank you for providing us with a...
Read moreI feel sorry to give a bad review as the 2 waiters were so friendly and nice, thus I will give 1 star for each one!
Unfortunately, at the end of the day this restaurant is charging 75 euros per person without drinks and should be judged based on that. It falls short in every conceivable way possible.
The photos are too flattering for the actual space. Don't expect any luxury and certainly not for the price. The food was quite bad in many different ways. The worst was the beef fillet that suffered a very brutal death on intense fire, converting my order for medium to well done inside and burned to a crisp on the outside. The salads were try-hard modern concepts that were neither salads nor tasteful. They were starter dishes. The starters dishes (following the salads) were nothing to write about and the best dish before dessert was the sourdough bread with olive oil. Simple but very elegant and tasty. The 2 out of 3 desserts were quite nice and certainly above average, but still falling short of any kind of fine dining.
If you are in the area just book a restaurant directly below, next to the waves, offering much better food, traditional vibes and a third...
