The best services in the whole town!! We simply loved it!!! Me and my boyfriend came here for 5 days and everyday we went to eat to this restaurant. From the first day, this restaurant caught our attention because of the great position near by the sea, and because of the very friendly and nice waiters. We were treated very professional and respectful at the restaurant, great communication with the clients, very friendly and welcoming crew and the best of the best? The food was amazing, it came very fast, it was very tasty, big portions and really well cooked, and the prices were really affordable. I was amazed by the taste of the food, we tried different things like pasta with salmon, chicken souvlaki and risotto with mushrooms and all of them were very tasty, i couldn’t believe we would find such a great place in Chania. After every visit, the crew gave us from the house their traditional alcohol Raki and we loved the taste of this, we have never tried anything like it and we loved it. Of course, because they know how to treat their clients we also received the best baklava and orange pie(also from the house) and it was the best dessert we’ve ever tried. With this review I really want to send all my appreciation to the crew of the restaurant and the manager also: Guys, you are doing an amazing job and it can be seen that you love what you are doing, customer service at its finest! 10000/10 for this amazing restaurant, food and team. Usually I try to only highlight the restaurants that I can recomend but this one I have to rate although it’s a negative one. Sorry! A total disapointment. Me and my wife attended this restaurant on the evening 2:nd July 2024. The place looks really nice situated at the docks of Nea Chora beach. We had walked passed it on the way into Chania several times. Now we thought lets try it. We ordered a glass of red wine and a glass of white wine, spagetti with shrimps and a beef steak medium/rare with béarnaise sauce. It all looked great when the dishes arrived BUT… The red wine tasted like vineagar. I’m not that ”picky” when it comes to wine but this was really undrinkable. I told the waiter about the bad wine but she told me it was ok without any excuses. I did not want to spoil the ”atmosphere” so I just ordered an beer and we started to eat. The meat was not medium/rare, it was over the top well done and dry. The béarnaise sauce was not a béarnaise sauce. It was more like melted butter with herbs. The spaghetti with shrimps did not taste ”anything”. My wife tried to find a salt mill that was functioning but could not get the staffs attention. When by her self for the fourth time got one from another table a waiter came and asked if they could help. I left my food half eaten and so did my wife. If I could give zero stars, I would. We hadn’t even been seated yet and the waiter came with full plates asking if we had ordered the meals. It started here. We were sitting looking at the menu when the waiter came over again with drinks we had not yet ordered. While this was happening to us, we also noticed other waiters doing the same to other tables. We then ordered our food and had to wait over an hour before we received it. Not to mention we were given food that we had not ordered and were told that we did order it and had to have it. The food we had ordered, was never given to us. When the mains came out, all did except one where we had to wait another 20 minutes before it did. Meanwhile all the other meals had been finished by the time the last came out. When this did come out, it came out cold as if it was ready for some time before they realised it needed to go out. Meanwhile people who came in after us and had ordered well after us, received their meals a good time before our table received anything. In saying this, the owner of the restaurant was all the time preoccupied with one particular table where a young attractive female sat with a friend, drinking raki shots and continually bringing her cakes and drinks she hadn’t ordered.
