Canteenery — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

I came right around opening time: 9:00, and asked if they were open for breakfast. Waiter said the kitchen opened at 9:30. No problem. I ordered my food, and waited, while being the one in perhaps 5 tables there, my food came at 10:10. Still, not really a problem, but got a little impatient (and hungry). Once the food came, I got wooden cutlery (probably for the reason that they are a food truck), which made eating my pancake stack not easy and less enjoyable. An excellent place to eat, drink coffee and take a swim. Baby friendly, as you can take a sit at tables, which are protected from the sun, but still be close to the beach. The staff was also really helpful with the baby. Totally recommend it to spend the day there.We ordered the canteenery burger, the chicken winner burger, a cretan salad and tacos. My husband and I are sitting in a simple place by the sea in Kato stallos. Restaurant Cantoneery. Cool place in its simplicity and therefore we are amazed when we eat Pork Pancetta, which is the best pork we have eaten ever.
