Notos Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

So lovely and nice People! Food is as good as service in this restaurant. It was No problem to change something in our dishes (which were delicious). I can recomended a chef salad because it is worth it. Other dishes supposedly taste just as good. This restaurant serve typical greek cusion. Prices are low but don't think it is that because The food is bad, yo will be really suprised. After we paid we Got watermelon and alcohol (after few days in Greece we found out it is normal here). Average restaurant. I was expecting more when I saw over 4 rating but it seems in Crete there are too many good restaurants so you should go to 4.7 and above and cheaper.

The lamp we ordered was over cooked and some parts were almost burnt. Calamar was okay and salad was good.

The restaurant had a few people when we arrived yet the service was slow as only one person was taking care of the guests.

When we asked for the bill and said to pay by card we were asked to go inside to pay. I find this a little impolite....

The cooking is pretty good, but the bloke front of house bummed a fag off my partner, asked for a tip at the earliest opportunity, and attempted a bit of a rub of himself against me. When our card declined (turned out I just needed to transfer some money from another account) we were shouted at for “having no money” Strongly discourage anyone, but especially females, from going anywhere...
