WKD BAR — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

The worst ever burger in my life. Maybe this bar is good with drinks and the other food... I ordered a double burger with pinacles, bbq sauce, cheese and onion. Meat was over burnt on all sides. Pinacles + bbq sauce had so much salt.. Onion was also not good. And the burger had no tomatoes or salad, what a disaster. At first I really tried to fix the taste, I took the tomato from my wife's dish and removed all pinacles and onion from the burger. It didn't help much. I tried to eat it through my tears and gave up, I left the half of the burger untouched. I wanted waitress to at least ask if the food was ok, but she didn't ask anything. French fries saved me, but that was 10 euro for worst ever burger.. Me and my wife also didn't like milkshakes much, they are fine, but there are places with better and cheaper milkshakes. Will never return...

Very bad experience. We came in and ordered at around 1:10 o’clock, and by 2:20 pm we still hadn’t received our food despite being pretty much the only people in the restaurant at the time. At 2:30pm we had a cab booked to go to our boat trip so we were hoping we could get a quick meal. Around 2:20pm my friends left without paying for the drinks because of how long the food was taking! Also we were going to be late anyway! So at one point I was by myself and I ended up paying the food for everyone (€50) just because i didn’t want to have an argument with the staff about not paying because of how long we were waiting. I work in a restaurant larger than this one and the longest thing to cook (filet steak well done) would only take 30 minutes maximum when the restaurant is packed. In our case we didn’t order much food, were the only ones in the restaurant and waited 70 minutes. Also, the staff had no sense of urgency and seemed very switched off (i’m sorry but it’s just the truth) and just didn’t seem to check up on our food or anything. At the end only the girl that was behind the cash machine apologised for the inconvenience, seriously?! would not return :(

Πολύ κακή εμπειρία. Μπήκαμε και παραγγείλαμε γύρω στη 1 η ώρα, και μέχρι τις 2:20 μ.μ. δεν είχαμε παραλάβει ακόμα το φαγητό μας, παρόλο που ήμασταν σχεδόν οι μόνοι άνθρωποι στο εστιατόριο εκείνη την ώρα. Στις 2:30 μ.μ. είχαμε κλείσει ταξί για να πάμε στο ταξίδι μας με το πλοίο, οπότε ελπίζαμε να φάμε γρήγορα. Γύρω στις 2:20 μ.μ. οι φίλοι μου έφυγαν χωρίς να πληρώσουν για τα ποτά λόγω της μεγάλης καθυστέρησης που θα αργούσε το φαγητό! Επίσης, θα αργούσαμε ούτως ή άλλως! Έτσι, σε κάποιο σημείο ήμουν μόνος μου και κατέληξα να πληρώσω το φαγητό για όλους (50€) απλώς και μόνο επειδή δεν ήθελα να μαλώσω με το προσωπικό για το ότι δεν πλήρωσαν λόγω της μεγάλης αναμονής μας. Δουλεύω σε ένα εστιατόριο μεγαλύτερο από αυτό και το πιο μακρύ μαγείρεμα (φιλέτο καλοψημένο) θα διαρκούσε μόνο 30 λεπτά το πολύ όταν το εστιατόριο είναι γεμάτο. Στην περίπτωσή μας δεν παραγγείλαμε πολύ φαγητό, ήμασταν οι μόνοι στο εστιατόριο και περιμέναμε 70 λεπτά. Επίσης, το προσωπικό δεν είχε καμία αίσθηση επείγοντος και φαινόταν πολύ κλειστό (λυπάμαι αλλά είναι απλώς η αλήθεια) και απλά δεν φαινόταν να ελέγχει το φαγητό μας ή οτιδήποτε άλλο. Στο τέλος, μόνο η κοπέλα που ήταν πίσω από το ΑΤΜ ζήτησε συγγνώμη για την ταλαιπωρία, σοβαρά;! Δεν θα...

I suspect the food from here caused my food poisoning! my family ate here last week and although i wondered to myself how much demand a place like this would have for slamon and eggs and so how fresh it would be i foolishly went ahead and ordered the eggs royale. Whilst it was well presented and tasted ok, about 6 hours later i started feeling off, then proceeded to have D&V for a few hours. Took 48hrs to recover fully. Avoid...
