Lukas beach bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

We stumbled upon Lukas Beach Seaside Bar and Restaurant during our visit to Stalida, and what a fantastic find it was! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome – friendly, relaxed, and genuinely attentive without ever being pushy. They struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, creating a laid-back atmosphere that immediately put us at ease.

We decided to share the Chicken Club Sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious – made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavour. The freshly cooked chips were crisp, golden, and the perfect complement to the meal. What really stood out was the thoughtful service: when we mentioned we’d be sharing, they brought over two extra plates without us even asking. It's the little touches like this that make a big difference!

The setting is just as impressive as the food – right by the seaside, perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

We were convinced to eat here by a very kind gentleman who promised us the best gyros we had had so far. Sadly, he lied.

The chicken gyros was fine, but the pork gyros was soggy and soaked in fat. The pitas, tzatziki, and fries were fine though. We ordered a regular Coke and Coke Zero to go along with our meals, and they managed to mix those up. The regular Coke tasted off, like some metal had dissolved in it.

The man serving us, although recommended by others, appeared to be rather bothered by our coming there for dinner a bit earlier than the regular dinner time, at 19:00 (7 PM).

The menus are definitely in need of replacement. One menu was barely legible. The other one had pages from the left imprinted on the right, and vice versa. The stickers, from when prices were raised, were barely sticking, and some stickers didn't even have a price on them anymore.

The only reason this deserves two stars is because of the lovely stray cat who came to us for some pets and scraps.

🇮🇪 Una serata perfetta in riva al mare Siamo stati da Lukas Beach Bar una sera con la famiglia per bere un cocktail, e ne siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. Il locale è bellissimo, secondo me uno dei più affascinanti della zona: l’atmosfera è calda e accogliente, con luci soffuse che creano un gioco suggestivo tra legno, tessuti naturali e dettagli in stile boho che richiamano il mare e l’estate.

Lo staff è stato non solo gentile e sorridente, ma soprattutto simpatico e coinvolgente: abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo il loro modo di farci sentire parte della loro allegria, con leggerezza e spontaneità.

I cocktail sono molto buoni (ideali per un aperitivo al tramonto o una serata rilassata) e c’è anche la possibilità di fumare la shisha, che aggiunge un tocco esotico e conviviale.

Proprio davanti al locale si apre una bellissima spiaggia di sabbia, ampia e tranquilla: non vediamo l’ora di tornarci per goderci anche il mare.

Un posto da segnare in agenda se siete a Stalida: perfetto per rilassarsi, socializzare e godersi la bellezza dell’isola.

The place is beautiful—one of the most charming spots in the area, in my opinion. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with soft lighting that plays across wooden tables, natural fabrics, and boho-style touches that evoke the sea and summer vibes.

The staff was not only kind and smiling, but also incredibly friendly and engaging. We really appreciated their cheerful energy and the way they involved us in their good mood with spontaneity and warmth.

The cocktails were great—perfect for a sunset aperitif or a relaxed evening—and there’s also the option to enjoy shisha, which adds an exotic and social twist to the experience.

Right in front of the bar, there’s a wide, sandy beach that looks peaceful and inviting—we’re definitely planning to come back and try it out in the next few days.
