Great Mexican Food in Crete

Tried this place while on holiday in Crete and was really impressed. I got the birria beef tacos and they were seriously good — juicy, full of flavour, and just really well done. You can tell the meat was slow-cooked properly.

My girlfriend had the vegetable quesadilla and she loved it. She said the cheese was proper quality and the tortilla was cooked just right — crispy but not too dry.

Service was also brilliant. The server was friendly and made us feel welcome without being over the top.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re after some proper Mexican food while...

We came here after an excursion to the Samaria Gorge. It was a long day and we were really hungry and didn’t want to eat in anywhere. The owner/chef made great food on the spot and we had a nice chat. Since the restaurant just opened i couldn’t pay by card yet, and i didn’t have cash on me. He gave me the receipt and told me to stop by the next day with cash. I thought that was a really nice and trustworthy gesture. Food was exquisite, we also got some nachos on the house. Would definitely recommend...
