Toto Lotto — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

Wouldn't go again - Lovely friendly staff to invite me in greet and seat me. After 40 minutes my simple starter which arrived with stale hard bread - I overlooked this. At the same time as they brought a simple complimentary bread/cheese/tomato dish which was pleasant (actually better than tje starter I paid for) After another long wait my main course arrived (a traditional Greek dish with pork and mushrooms). The pork was so tough it hurt to chew. I tried a few pieces in case it was just a bit that'd been cooked on the top and gone hard before quietly mentioning it (to the owner/manager?) who started shouting and waving his arms at me then walking off. I ate the rest if the food but had to pick out the meat. When the waiter eventually returned and enquired about my meal I quietly told him about the meat, he turned to the old chap I'd told before who was now ignoring me and he began shouting again that the meat was fresh - he'd bought it last week. I was ignored for 40 mins before I calculated my own bill, put the money on the table and got up. The old chap rushed over, pushed me back into my seat and began shouting again - this time at the waiter who after another 15 mins brought some complmentary fruit and ouzo and the bill. Bad food. Slow service. Rude owner/manager who embarassed me as a single woman...

Totto lotto enjoys a beautiful situation and you'll definitely receive a warm welcome, food is ok, had better very nearby but my main issue was the service, our waiters were very friendly and working hard and for that couldn't be faulted however we, and several other tables sat with empty plates for 45 minutes before I had to go into the kitchen to ask for our bill, then a very apologetic waiter obviously run off his feet brought a complimentary sweet and drink but by then we just wanted to go, it wasnt overly busy and we all felt the two members of staff out on the street trying to get more customers in may have been better employed in the restaurant, we've been to malia many times and do all our favourite restaurants every time we go but unfortunately totto lotto is not now...

Went for a meal on the 20th 6th 2022 ordered a pork meze 11.00 euros and a chicken meze 11.00 euros food was ok so was the wine at 6 euros total being 27 euros my final bill was 54 euros !!! I confronted the owner who claims he added dishes all we done was chose from the menu , he offered to reduce the bill by 4x euros and calling me his friend at the same time he has exploited tourists visiting the area and for that I stand tall he is no better than a thief go to avli restaurant as it is far better and very...
