Not in the tourist malia you can find one of the best greek restaurant I‘ve ever been. Kosta gives you a very warm welcome and you feel like visiting a friend. All of the starters are great. Doesn‘t matter if you prefer just tzatziki and bread or something like halloumi. As the main cours I can recommend the chicken. So tasty and juicy you won‘t find anywhere else. We wanted to try Kalesma as soon as we arrived in Malia and I’m so glad we did. My partner had stifado and it was the best one we have ever had (he used to live in Greece so he had tried lots!). If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Booked for 10 of us for my birthday and we had the most amazing meal. Everything we were served was absolutely delicious. The lamb dish was one of the best meals I've ever eaten! The house wines were also lovely, and very affordable.
