It's got rat in the name, there's a clue! Joking aside, the service was very friendly but that's how they get you in there.
I order the traditional lamb kleftiko, not knowing what is was, and wanting something home made and well made.
When it arrived, the waiter served it without removing the lid of the dish. No worries, did it myself. But it was so hot it burnt my fingers and I dropped it on the table. Hey ho, at least the food will be hot.
The sauce was overly buttered and full of garlic. The sliced potatoes were scalding hot. Let it cool for a while and tucked into the lamb beneath. The first few mouthfuls were rather chewy, real bad meat. But then it got worse.
The lamb in the middle of the dish was still frozen. That's when I relaised it had been cooked weeks maybe months before, and reheated in a microwave.
