Sirtaki — Restaurant in Municipality of Festos

My personal favourite! Down to earth and classic greek style flavours! Been there several times. At first for the food, because it had the most classic greek flavour - maybe not the fanciest in style, but still ultimately delicious by great classical preparation and taste - any dish I had. Then it became a personal thing, because the way the staff there treated us (from the first second) really started to feel the warmhearted way which is the reason why I love Greece so much!

Prior owner of view based restaurant reviews view based restaurant! It's true that places like this can trade on the view. They can let their standards slip like a chain gang prisoner. But not so here. The team have been through a summer as unending and hot as a chocolate fountain, yet they retain genuine hospitality. The meals are fine. Nothing stands out in any direction. Perfect location for a romantic dinner at sunset. From here we had the perfect view of the entire bay and the setting sun.

Ordered the mix grill plate for two, 25 euros, and the house rose wine. The meat was very well grilled, and juicy on the inside. Everything was too salty, which was a pity for an otherwise great meal. You're welcome to add a star to my rating if you like overly salty food.

The meal came with a free finish of fruits (watermelon and strawberry) and a carafe of raki, a local strong liqueur.
