RISK OF SCAM The restaurant was full, but a person told the waiters that, if we wanted, we could sit at his table because he would finish his glass of beer and leave. That was fine with us and we sat at the table of this person who, later, told us was the owner (a certain Giannis Neroulidis). We ordered and made conversation while waiting to be left alone at the table, which never happened. What happened, instead, was that the waiters continued to bring us beers and raki even though we hadn't asked for them. In fact, they told us that they were freebies. When it came to paying the bill, which was very expensive because we had obviously bought ourselves those drinks, the waiter told my girlfriend that there had been problems with the POS and the card transaction had not gone through and he ALSO demanded cash payment, without issuing either the POS receipt or the payment receipt. Φτάνω 17:00 Κυριακή απόγευμα με 3 τραπέζια μόνο κατειλημμένα και 2 σερβιτόρους.
Κάθομαι, καθαρίζουν το τραπέζι, στρώνουν κουβέρ και φέρνουν νερό.
Λέμε κάτι άσχετο. Μου λέει: από πού είσαι. Λέω: Αθήνα.
Έρχονται ντόπιοι 5 λεπτά μετά. Στρώνουν, να και νερό, να και δωρεάν ορεκτικά από το μαγαζί, φέρνουν μπύρες, παίρνουν παραγγελία. Πετάει το σέρβις.
Φεύγει η παρέα από το μεγάλο τραπέζι. Μου φέρνει κατάλογο. Οι ντόπιοι πίσω μου τσιμπάνε ήδη.
Ο ένας σερβιτόρος αποφασίζει να κάτσει σε ένα τραπέζι να σαβουρώνει ένα χοιρινό καλαμάκι. Lunch break. Ο άλλος καθαρίζει τα άδεια τραπέζια πηγαινοερχόμενος με δίσκο.
Από τη στιγμή που κάθησα μέχρι που έφυγα πέρασαν 20 λεπτά. Είχα σκοπό να παραγγείλω την ποικιλία οπότε καταλαβαίνεις σε πόση ώρα ακόμα θα έφτανε φαγητό στο τραπέζι.
Μου λέει: γιατί δεν μου κάνατε νόημα; Ναι, φιλαράκο, ο σερβιτόρος έχει πάντα δίκιο.
