Ταβέρνα Τό Κονάκι — Restaurant in Municipality of Ierapetra

A homely greeting and great food for a Saturday lunch. A relaxed, good value family run place don't expect fussy service. As has been said before locals seem to eat here. The. must eat was the 'prawn saganaki'. Delicious! We also had Calamari, tzatziki, spinach pies, beer, house white and were kindly treated to ouzo ( on the house ). All was lovely. Cracking Greek coffee too.

The kitchen also did some white bait and chips for our daughter. The very reasonable price of 46€. Would definitely...

We had two meals in this restaurant and in both times was good the weitress were kind and the dish good and traditional. In the second time we took a fish, grilled fiah and was great. The price was on line compared to other restaurants on the beach. The location is wonderful you eat few steps from the sea. The pnly problem the i saw was the uncleand squid but its quite tipical not common in italy bot in some contry they don't clean...

Ordered lamb chops and they were the chewiest lamb chops ever. We couldn't even cut them they were so tuff. We did get one price of the meal knocked off but it was no excuse to sell us bad lamb. Would not visit this place again. My nephew ordered the beef kokkino and said it was lovely. Maybe we ordered the wrong meal but you don't expect to be served a bad meal. Can honestly say that it was the worst meal I've ever...
