Positive things first: 2 of the 3 waiters serving us were friendly.

Everything else added up to be the worst evening we had in irapetra so far .... and we had many.

Many components of the served dishes were clearly canned food. The fried cheese was a sad excuse for a Saganakis. The Bifteki tasted bland and mushy and had big pieces of cartilage inside. Dakos was fine, pasta was also okay. Bathrooms were outright disgusting. I understand that there is not always money to make restorations but cleaning should be the bare minimum. To get to the toilet you have to walk through the front part of the kitchen. Next to a big pan of fried food a child sat on a chair with his feet up on the counter right next to the food. Wonder of that stuff was still going to be served...

There MANY great restaurants in irapetra. Try to avoid this one especially when youre a tourist looking for an authentic greek...

Location is OK, near the beach, nothing more positive to say. Drinks: beer and still lemonade. My starter didn't arrive, but a replacement was brought as a gift, which we had to pay for without prior notice. It wasn't that good either. Main course was good, but nothing special. My friend's starter came, but it was okay. Her main course was brought incorrectly, and the correct one came a little later. Quite a nice restaurant with lots of guests. But thats it! My pork souvlaki was a tough thing to eat! You need a very sharp knife and also teeth to be able to eat it! And if you did it tasted nothing at all! Not acceptable! My wife had stuffed vegetables that was Ok but also quite tasteless. The reaction from service was very negative, no excuse what so ever, not even a comment and instead of something extra with the complementary fruit we got no fruit at all! Punished instead!
