I would give this place 6 stars if I could! My friends and I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant and we were so happy we did that we returned the next day for more. The atmosphere inside the restaurant felt so cozy - almost like we were eating food in someone's home.

The appetizers are to die for! We shared pitas and dipped them in their tzatziki sauce and another spicy sauce that tasted delicious. Their saganaki is one I'll remember forever, it comes with a jam that perfectly complements the flavor from the cheese.

I shared a greek salad and the grilled meatballs with a friend and no complaints there - everything was phenomenal!

And the star of the show: the banoffee balls! These were the highlight of the entire meal and our waiter gave them to our group on the house after we had finished everything. Mixed with bananas, caramel, biscuits, and powdered sugar - I would make a trip back to Ios just to taste these again.

We came here based on the reviews and had some of the best meals we have ever tried. The chicken in paprika sauce is one of those meals that surprise you in first bite! The fries tasted like home-cooked which is a taste very hard to find in a restaurant. Ntakos was delicious and my wife loved it. The portions were quite big and we really enjoyed every bite. The service was friendly and when we ordered baklava the lady brought us corner slice (the best part) as a gesture. It was very big and tasted&smelled great! The prices are a bit higher than usual but we felt everything was worth the price. Btw, the playlist with older songs was very pleasant to hear. It is our last night here in Ios and we wanted to try a traditional Greek resturant in which Kabouris did not dissapoint!! Amazing food and service was very professional, prolite, friendly and welcoming. The waiter attended to our table whenever we needed and there was not a long wait at all. It was the best dolmades that we have ever tasted we are from Australia and one of the things was to try Dolmades. Best ever! Another thing we loved was the price! Very affordable for great qualitt meal. Delicious So much flavour in all the dishes Saganaki was amazing. Meat was so tender we vor the Lamb with the potatoes. 10/10!!! If we ever come back to Ios we will of course come back to visit. Love...
