Passaggio — Restaurant in Municipality of Ios

Coming from a pizzaiolo and being really picky when I’m talking about pizza quality is a decent-good pizza, specially if you consider the price. I wouldn’t pay more tho..

The downside for me was the waiting time in between pizzas. I don’t mind if the food takes a little bit longer but make sure to send all of the table together (even a couple of minutes diference is all right too)

We were four people on our table, there was other clients on the restaurant but it wasn’t extremely busy and since the first pizza arrived and the fourth pizza did it was around 15 minutes difference. We got one pizza every 5 minutes, all separately, one by one. Even thought the girl realized nobody was eating because of being waiting for everyone to have their pizza, she didn’t managed to solve the situation neither apologize for the wait (besides this the service was good).

I can tell the problem was just a matter of disorganization from the kitchen (and not shortage of staff) because while waiting this 15 minutes I could see other pizzas fresh out of the oven going to other tables, so I ask myself: why not finishing the table you already started before passing to the next order?

We recently ate here as a group of six. My friend was waiting over 45 minutes for her food and we had all already finished ours and gotten takeaway boxes while she still had not been served hers. When it finally arrived the food was nothing like what the waitress had described to her. She asked before what the dish was and the waitress described a completely different dish to what was served. When going up to pay we requested the dish be taken off of the bill as she could not eat any of it and it had been served to her so late. We were met with no help with this request and were told it was “a complicated dish to make” which is understandable but we had not been told this and it was not what was described. Great crispy pizza!!! We got the fuego and it was spicy and all the meats were super delicious. They even offered us free shots at the end of our meal. The waitress was also so sweet at the beginning as I pored over the menu deciding if I wanted to eat there or not. If your appetites are small, you could split one of their big pies between four people. My husband and I had just gotten back from a day at the beach though, so we finished 3/4 and took the last two slices to go. All in all, a great stop! Our...
