Read moreBest meal I had during my month in Greece!
Nice design, cozy rooftop, superb quality of ingredients, interesting menu, gem of a wine list. The staff was polite, but then Penny swopped in with her professional kindness and passionate knowledge for natural wine and completely put my evening over-the-top. Not only did I eat extremely well, but Penny was more than happy to let me try various natural wines produced in Greece and was more than generous with her hospitality.
This is an example of how much individuals influence a place (obviously it would have been nice to have other serving staff as knowledgable about the wine list or communicate in English, but more than a critique of others-- because everyone was kind and put up with all of my weird requests-- this is praise of a great managerial figure)... it truly become the most memorable, tasty, and enjoyable dinner out in Greece.
So, go, try everything on the menu (even if it's stuff you might not eat normally) and don't be afraid to ask for the natural wines if that's what you are into-- there's some really great stuff not necessarily on the menu.
Can't...
