DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE👎🏽 This is the worst experience I had amongst all 20 restaurants I ate in during my visit in Greece. The restaurant presents itself as a gastronomic restaurant however the portion sizes are smaller and more expensive than most of the other restaurants but the food is below average. The “Spaghetti with slow-cooked goat and buttery Messinian myzithra” was shameful. There was one spoon of dry meat and mediocre tacky pasta. No one from the staff came to ask about the food as conventionally waiters do. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the waitress at the payment time , she just said “we are sorry”. A truly disappointing experience!

Great experience all in all! It is located in the most classic and traditional part of the old city of Kalamata. The restaurant has a beautiful garden setting and fantastic knowledgeable waitstaff. The food is incredible, and all the dishes were delicious. What I liked most, is the creative Greek cuisine with local products. They work mostly with local producers. Especially the homemade ravioli is always a standout, and their bread was also very fresh and warm. I recommend it with Olive oil and some sea salt. At our last visit we tried the ceviche which was great! Last but not least, there is great wine selection and always a good recommendation by the owner.

Excellent dinner in a calm, cosy ambience in the garden courtyard. It was very pleasant to have a change from taverna home-cooking to semi-gastronomic. The chef is very talented and produced a light-textured carrot puree that had incredible flavour and an outstanding fava puree. The slowly-cooked beef rib was of the same calibre and literally fell off the bone. Service was friendly and attentive, timing perfect. I would only suggest that the waiters rehearse the menu a little more in English, as some of the descriptions and explanations weren't accurate.

A hidden gem in the old part of Kalamata, where the well informed locals and visitors are taken to a culinary experience by chef Leo. Salads, appetisers and main courses are all with a fine touch.. and for sure don't forget to order the melitzane (eggplant) with the miso sauce.. divine, even for non melitzane lovers. The place also has a great collection of wines from Messinia and Greece that will add ro your experience. A beautiful garden at the back will keep your sitting quite and private but with full of smells of local herbs, basil, rosemary, etc. Highly recommended.....
