Cheese on fire! AWESOME

I would like to start this review off by saying that this place was out of the ordinary, the waiters were nice and good at their stressful job, the ladies restroom was clean and neat. It was a little bit tight though. the mens restrooms is NONE of my business.. i sat on the rooftop and it was very cozy. My big brother REALLY wanted alcohol but my strict parents said no, he later held a grudge towards them. We got a "waiting table" and it was not bad. We ordered drinks and it was good. Lets just skip all the boring stuff and get juicy with it. It was now time to order food, We decided to order appetizers, and one of them was these cheese balls, but the waiter said this cheese block on fire was better. I turned to my mother and politely shook my head in denial - you see, I did not like the idea of a fire. She completely ignored me and said yes to our waiter; it was actually very cool and the waiter handled the fire well. When we ordered the main course my brother ordered the ribeye, my dad the lamb cutlets, my mom does not remember what she ordered (i fear she has developed short term memory loss). We found that place by accident to have cocktails in the afternoon and then came back for dinner two times during our 3 days stay in Karpathos. The restaurant is located in the port with a nice sea and town view and it left us utterly delighted - not only by its amazing food offerings but also by its warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you're a seafood enthusiast like me, this place is an absolute must-visit! We ordered and now recommend fresh fish, sea food pasta, shrimps – all was cooked to perfection, and the way they open the fish in front of you is a masterpiece! 😊 They also offer a good choice of wines and cocktails to complement the meal. What truly sets this family restaurant apart, though, is the warm and attentive service. The staff made us feel like valued guests, and their knowledge and passion for the food they serve were evident. It is worth mentioning that they offer great variety of options for breakfast, we had a very nice one just before our ferry. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grande, a restaurant located in Pigadia, Karpathos. I was with my sister, and we were both blown away by the food, service, and atmosphere.

The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, and he made sure we had everything we needed.

The food was simply delicious. We ordered moussaka and spaghetti with shrimp, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. The moussaka was rich and flavorful, and the spaghetti was perfectly al dente.

The atmosphere was also very pleasant. The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting, and the interior is decorated in a traditional Greek style.

Overall, we had an amazing experience at Grande. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable meal...
