Captain Jack Family Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Kissamos

We went to This bar in search of a place that we could watch an Euro 2024 match. We were driving past the bar and saw on a sign it read “ Euro 2024” we then went the next day to watch. We quickly discovered that there was a wide variety of drinks for adults and even some for children. We ordered drinks then soon realized we built up an apitite.we saw on the menu that we could order pizza so we did then we saw the waitress who I forget the name of call a different restaurant to deliver pizza to her restaurant and she served it up to us even though we saw it in plain sight she called the pizza hers. We decided that it was fine so we looked to see how the game is going. A man on a computer, who seemed to be operating the music soon looked on Google and looked up crack streams to find the game we were looking for. Just as I suspected the game buffered about every five seconds and was hard to watch. After a full minute of this, the man pointed his finger up in the air to the Internet box and said “5G” and was mad. Speaking of wifi the waiter was giving us dirty looks when we were on are phone trying to watch the game that was LAGGING OUT with are data because she was not giving us the Wi-Fi password. After a while I saw a sign the read “ Wi-Fi” I got exited jumped out of my seat, ran over to it and realized you had to scratch something off (like on a lottery ticket) with a coin that you will probably not have after spending your money on the overpriced cocktails at CAPTAIN...

This bar and its owners are amazing! Whenever you're in the mood for something different than the traditional bars, you really should visit Captain Jacks bar. The music is good and danceable and Sophia sure knows how to throw a party! There's a large choice of beers and cocktails, and we always like to play a game of Jenga or darts while enjoying our drinks. And now since the season has started, we don't have to leave when we get the munchies because now we can order pizza as well! Also.. I would like to rate this bar 6 stars, because the cleanest toilet of Crete deserves...

We spent a couple of nights in Kissamos and came across this lovely establishment run by Sofia! We fell in love with this bar so visited both nights we stayed. Couldn’t recommend more. The bar itself is charming as is Sofia, the owner who is very friendly. You can play a cheeky game of Jenga or darts whilst you sip on a cocktail or two! There’s plenty to choose from including homemade sangria and a wide range of draught beers. If you’re looking for a great night out or a pre/post evening meal drink or two then we would really recommend going...
