Plaka beach restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Kissamos

Great place especially if you want to relax and eat in the same time. The food is very good and in accurate prices. The waiters are profesional and very nice. They are coming to the beach to take the order- if you order anything then sun beds are for free and you can enjoy beautiful view. I recommend to try local deserts with honey which are delicious and the fresh fishes :) it is posible to go to the restaurant and choose the fish. I recommend also to try lamp chops and stuffed vegetables, especially stuffed zucchini flowers are not typical and very tasty! As the greek portions are quite big especially for the girls, I like that is posible to get main dishes with salad instead of french fries. For the start also fresh juices and fredo coffies with ice are very good. Generally all was great and since we discovered this place we started to come only here and we hope we will back here in...

We ended up at the restaurant after a long drive from Rethymno and could immediately relax with the superb service and food (grilled sardines and an amazing mousakka). We tried the local beer Lyra, which is totally recommended. The lunch was so good that we went there again for dinner, but since it was late, some of the food was not available, it may be a good bet to visit the restaurant not too late. Also, some of the cold meze was not prepared in the house, so make sure to check what is fresh (not the only place in the village where we faced this though). The beach there was very calming and nice, and the restaurant serves drinks to the sunbeds. No need to emphasize again the friendly service, it was one of the best experiences of genuine hospitality...

Great spot next to the beach, very kind personnel, very cute and well organized and a great spot for kids as well as dogs since the heart warming owners will treat you with the best hospitality and manners. All in all the best spot to enjoy the sea. They serve amazing good and fresh food in the best prices in comparison to other places on the same beach. What u really enjoyed is that there was a good distance from the coast and the tavern was not exactly o the beach ,with nice fresh area with grass in between the tavern and the sunbathing spot. Very well organised with access to a shower and a very clean and well maintained toilet. I will definitely spend more time...
