Disappointing Experience — Food Safety Should Be Reviewed
I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel the need to share our experience to help improve food safety.
On July 21st, 2025, around 5:00 PM, we had dinner at this restaurant during the hottest part of the day. We ordered grilled chicken with rice, potatoes, and salad. This was our last and only meal of the day.
Later that evening, my son became unwell — he experienced vomiting and stomach pain throughout the night. A few hours later, I also developed a fever and felt very sick. We sought medical attention and have documentation of the symptoms and treatment.
We had been eating at this restaurant for four days prior and were very satisfied with both the food and the staff. However, this incident was concerning and unexpected.
My wife had the same dish, but it was served separately. She did not eat from our son’s plate and remained healthy. I, on the other hand, finished his portion and became ill shortly after. This suggests that the issue may have been related to that specific serving.
Given that we had not eaten anything else that day, we do not believe the cause of illness could have come from any other food source.
We understand that isolated incidents can happen, but we believe that hygiene and food safety must always be a top priority. We hope this feedback encourages the management to review all relevant procedures and take every necessary step to avoid future health risks.
This review is not written with the intention of harming the restaurant’s reputation. Our only goal is to raise awareness and help prevent such incidents from happening again — especially when children are involved.

Read moreHas a lovely meal here, last night We had fava with pitta bread and feta in filo pastry with honey and sesame to start. Both were very good. We both had the vegetarian moussaka for main, which were excellent. We had half a litre of house red and the bill was €47.
There were a few vegetarian main courses, and to have a good veggie moussaka was a real treat.
The staff are very friendly and have time to spend a few minutes to chat.
The place hadn’t been too busy the last couple of nights, and it's a shame as the food for us, is far better than the crowded place across the road.

Asked about any food allergy ect. It was busy when we went staff were working really hard to keep everyone happy.
