MAMA MARINA (HELLAS) — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Beware of scams! In this restaurant, money disappears and is asked twice to guests. Last night we ate here, eight of us, when we went to pay we put the money on the cash desk, but for some strange reason 50 euros disappeared, the owner confirmed several times that she saw that we put the money but could not find it they demanded them a second time. we offered them AT LEAST to share, but nothing. The scam was carried out with art, the Lady paraded 50 euros in the few moments in which we were distracted to reunite the children, she went inside and when she returned she staged the disappearance of the 50 euros, she wanted us to believe in a gust of wind ... wind that wasn't there ... the food is mediocre, but it costs almost twice as much, or at least 50 euros more...

My wife and I got in late and chose this place because it was close to our hotel our first night. Best pizza and greek cruisine we've had yet. Owned by local family, most friendly folks offering pita and fresh home marinated olives gratis. Fish dinner was excellent. Mix grill plate big and delicious. It was fantastic experience. We came here by recommendation and didn’t regret. It’s cozy family restaurant with dishes, which made with mom’s love. The food was fabulous. We had a good conversation with owners- cute and funny couple. The portions are big for good prices. Everything is clean, the service is great, waiting time is low.
