Visited this restaurant twice because of the view, peaceful place and it was in front of our rental apartment. The food is good, and they have a good chef. That's why we've returned. Waiters were friendly. In our 2nd visit, we got a free table half half-shaded, so we took it because of the view. While we were eating at sunset, the hot sun was facing me and disturbing my eating(I'd forgotten to take my sunglasses) so after ordering the dessert I asked the waiter if I could change the table( I was then alone, others left) to a shaded one. He chose the table for me. So I moved there enjoying my dessert. I just wanted to sit and rest for sometime. I got a phone call from back home from the hospital. My mom got hospitalized so I had to talk to her, doctors, etc..... After finishing my dessert I kept talking on the phone. The owner came and told me: "You have to pay to close the table" I told him I left the 1st table, so you can take it/use it for other customers. He repeated to me that you have to pay to close the table. So I walked and paid then left. Never returned back. It felt so bad and so embarrassing to hurry me while I was busy on a phone call. That was not professional. So when you come here you should eat and leave as soon as you finish eating. Not at all convenient to me during holidays!!! En...
Read moreWe have been lucky enough to visit many Greek islands and eat in many Greek tavernas and restaurants, but I have to say this is the best. The setting is stunning. The staff are warm and welcoming, but most importantly the food is exceptional. We found the restaurant near the end of our holiday and visited it 3 times it was so good. The food is predominantly Greek, but cooked in a very modern sophisticated way. For example a wonderful beetroot salad consisted of tender beetroot with candied walnuts and strawberries on a bed of feta cheese. In a fresh orange dressing. We had a trio meze of different freshly made dips with hot fresh pitta bread and the fish was wonderful. I had grilled sea bream, cooked to perfection with roasted vegetables that came from their own garden. You can see this next to the restaurant. The fish was also accompanied with herby roast potatoes. All the food is very nicely presented and is of high end quality. What a find. No matter what food you choose be it a snack or a lazy long lunch or dinner I feel you would not be disappointed. A lot of thought, care and attention has gone in to this restaurant and it's also reasonably priced. Sat by the sea with good food and caring owners and staff. What more could you...
Read moreAn excellent restaurant, located right on the water. The location is truly unique, with a stunning view and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for dining at any time of day and suitable for any occasion. The space is open and airy, with subtle background music that creates a nice ambiance without being intrusive. The food was truly impressive. The Kalymnian salad was fresh and delicious. The grilled octopus with fava and caramelized onions was one of the best dishes — perfectly cooked, tender, and very tasty. The salmon was fresh, well-grilled, and served with nicely roasted vegetables and an excellent sauce. The baked scorpion fish was an amazing choice, served with perfectly cooked pasta that complemented the dish beautifully. The service was excellent and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a very strong experience. Better every time I visit. One of those restaurants worth returning to. Highly...
