What a great bar! Mario is an amazing and friendly man, who makes you feel at home and special. He welcomed us in and could not do enough for us. The beer/cocktails are great and if you want somewhere to watch the football, he has a few screens to accommodate everybody. There is a small area with grab machine, air hockey etc for the kids and also a pool table for adults. Whilst not a restaurant, he provides 'The best' pizza we found and also does some other light snacks. Order some drinks and Mario will provide some complimentary crisps/nuts and maybe a 'Raki'. Best pistachio ice cream EVER, full of nutty bits which for this nut enthusiast is super bonus. Like it's the only ice cream I eat out at home and away and it gets all the stars and some more. Also the best Greek coffee I've had in Crete. They serve the coffee with a wee slice of what local cake. Mario the owner is a super guy, he is friendly funny and have a great energy. The outdoor eating area is well shaded and cooled with ceiling fans. I paid a couple of visits on my trip, the first time by chance and the second I walked out of my way by a couple of KMs in the afternoon Sun to get me some more delights before...

An iconic bar for 36 years. 36 years livening up the nightlife of Ag. Dimitrios in Crete. A fantastic place to visit at least once in your life.
