I was charged the 40Euro deposit for greek night even though I cancelled my original reservation well before the 24 hour window. I made a second reservation just for dinner and I wish i hadn't.The staff was friendly at first they sat us outside of the restaurant on what seemed like beach loungers with cigarette burns on the cushions and we waited half an hour for someone to come over and take our order even though we were literally the only ones at the restaurant. When we asked if someone was going to take our order the hostess told us they couldn't because we got up to take photos. But we did so because there was no one in sight to take our order so we figured we would walk a few feet away from the table and take a picture. A normal response would have been "oh we can take your order now" but instead we were gaslit. We ordered the black ouzo(on the menu) and were brought the tsipouro which we noticed right away was wrong. We told the waiter and he tried to argue with us that they did not have the black ouzo and that "the tsipouro is better". and being gaslit. A few moments later the black ouzo was brought to us. We both ordered a different type of risotto. I received mine but they brought my husband clams over pasta. When we called over a waiter to tell them the mistake they cut us off because they already knew. I watched the waiter take the correct plate directly from another table(who knows who could have spit in it) to us. They then told us we could not stay at our table in case it was needed...but we intended to order drinks and stay for the show which we were told by the hostess would start at 8pm then another waiter said 9pm the bartender said it would start at 10pm. We watched another couple be told the same thing. The "show" didn't start until everyone was done eating around 1030pm. They then went around selling plated to be broken which was the "show". Our reservation was at 7pm so thinking the show would start at 8pm we thought we would be fine. We were made to feel like the restaurant wanted us to leave. We watched the manager get drunk with his buddies in the corner of the bar that was "reserved". I had never heard of a bar stool being reserved as the hostess specifically told us we could move to the bar it was first come first serve. His buddies also crowded us at the bar and chain smoked cigarettes till I felt physically sick from the smoke and we left. This felt intentional and malicious after we had to tell the waiter about their mistakes. We were polite in every interaction as we were trying to enjoy our time and make the best of it but no one ever came over to apologize..probably because the manager was too busy drinking. Then the bill came..but they didn't give us a receipt so we asked to see it just to make sure we were charged for what we got. They then proceeded to bring us someone else's bill or the wrong bill. After all of this I actually did become physically sick mind you I consumed only one alcoholic beverage the whole 4 hours we were there waiting for the show as I am not a big drinker. the "show" is a fire dancer for maybe 5 minutes and another 5 minute interpretive dance. Then the waiter go around selling plates 20 for 40Euros to break them. The plates are also already half broken. They literally go around selling half broken plates so that you can "participate in the show" We did not purchase plates and asked if we could buy a few instead of 20 and we were told we could not. But then the two women next to us asked the same thing and the waiter gave them a plate each no problem. This was blatantly right in our face I wish I was kidding. We intended to bring our friends here but unfortunately will not be returning ever. I wouldn't come back even if you paid me. edit: after reading some other bad reviews it really feels like they intentionally treat certain people differently. Maybe because we weren't greek or a friend of the manager. Maybe outsiders are not welcome at this place. We really did feel like they wanted us to leave. I've never been made to feel that way at a...

I don't wanna leave a bad review to damage this restaurant, I want to inform people and give you a little heads up. That's why I chose to give neutral 3 stars even though my review will suggest something else.
We were driving around mykonos and lost track of time and were really hungry, we came with our légère roadtrip outfit and had to wait 15 minutes at the entrance. They asked us if we have a reservation, we answered that we don't have any, apologized for the fact and politely asked if we could have a table. Well, look, we were not dressed superexpensive, still had our little beach bag and the woman at the front desk looked at us as if we don't belong here.
Afterwards we waited for an hour to get a table. We waited patiently in the corner, other people came after us made themselves incredibly important and got a table before us. My girlfriend started to feel dizzy because we were so hungry. After the 4th group got a table before us I went to the manager and - once again politely - told him that even though we have no reservation and even though we are very sorry for causing any inconvenience, my girlfriend is starting to feel bad and we would really need someting so eat/drink because she was telling me that she was afraid to faint any minute now which lead to her getting a panick attack.
Credits where credits are due: when the manager saw my girlfriend shaking, he immediatly gave us a table and we could eat. But needless to say we couldn't really enjoy it anymore. The food was ok, the prices are high but we expected that.
What really bothered me was that for almost 1,5h we were treated as second class human beings, it broke my heart to see my girlfriend like this, we are in Mykonos to celebrate her becoming a medical doctor (I am a doctor myself) and we ended up feeling like we are worthless. Because the worst part is that you end up believing it, you end up thinking that you are not worth being here or getting food. And this is a disgusting feeling and I don't want anyone to ever feel like this. This is why I chose to leave this review.
PS: to the two couples that tried everything to get a table before us, even though they arrived after us, even when they saw how bad my GF was doing, still pushing themselves in front of us and being extremly rude: you are TERRIBLE human beings and should be profoundly ashamed...
Read moreTorn between giving this place 3 stars or 4, but will say thanks to the views and the vibe of the area, I’ll go with 4 stars.
To start with, you MUST reserve a daybed as the restaurant claims there is a waitlist. We did so and were told if we were late our reservation would be cancelled. When we arrived, 15 minutes early, the place was basically dead besides one other couple. Not sure why they have this stance on the daybeds as at no time during the day (maybe because it was a Monday, but still in season), there was never a time where the beds were full occupied.
There are 3 “options” for daybeds. You can get the cabana option that is closest to the water for €200, the smaller individual day beds one row behind for €100, or the back row of individual daybeds for €80. My understanding of these prices (a deposit of the amount is required), is that’s how much you must spend (I could’ve misunderstood the hostess though). The price isn’t terrible considering we had the beds from 12PM to 8PM.
The staff all seem to be younger kids (late teens/early twenties) who didn’t seem to want to be there. Not very attentive and spent the majority of the time gaggled around the host stand.
As with most beaches in Europe, you will be bombarded by folks selling trinkets and bobbles and dresses and there was even a guy selling gigantic donuts.
The view at the beach and from The upper restaurant level are amazing and definitely aid this rating.
The cocktails are $$$/€€€ expensive and awful. I ordered a whiskey and Coke that tasted like someone had used the glass as an ashtray. My wife and I went through about 6 of the signature cocktails and not a single one was deemed good.
On the food front, there are a couple of decent options. Obviously the staple Greek salad, fried meatballs, chicken, and burgers. The burger was…cooked to the desired rarity but was so greasy that it actually felt/tasted spongy.
Additionally, if you are looking for a party vibe, this is not the place for you. Although I understand they have a Greek night that is supposed to be pretty lively, off nights seem to be bland. They do offer hookah if you’re looking for that, but it is PRICEY!
All in all, I give this place 4 stars but I wouldn’t not return...
