Dining at Namah Mykonos was one of the best dining choice's we’ve had. All the dinner tables are perfectly positioned to enjoy a magical view over Ornos Bay, creating a refined and serene setting that captures the essence of Mykonos. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Everyone was genuinely polite and welcoming. The waiter guided us through the menu and helped make our evening truly special. Chef Christos Pedes is one of a kind. He elevated Greek flavours to an entirely new level with creativity, precision, and elegance. Our dinner featured an exquisite beef tartare, a beautifully prepared Iberico pork, and a langoustine risotto that was flawlessly executed and full of delicate flavour. The lamb fillet was an absolute standout! it was served with a crispy vine leaf filled with goat cheese, topped with caramelised macadamia nuts, and paired with a fragrant red wine sauce and a subtle blend of citrus notes. The result was an explosion of flavors, with perfect balance between texture, richness, and vibrant acidity. We paired our meal with an excellent selection of rum-based cocktails and ended the night with a glass of homemade rakomelo, infused with warm spices and incredible aroma. It was the perfect finale to our evening. If you’re in Mykonos, Namah is an experience you shouldn’t miss. The view, the flavors, and the hospitality combine into a true experience. Truly thank...
Read moreLast week we dicided to have dinner at Namah restaurant. It took us a while to find it, as it is located in a hotel and there is no name advertising.
The location is ok, but missing out a bit in the details to be worth this expensive.
We ordered the risotto, the beef tartare and the home made bread to start. The both dishes were delicious and good to portion size. The bread was good, but to bad frozen on the inside. So just not sure it’s home made as advertised.
For main course we ordered pork racks and red snapper. And as good as the starters where, so bad where the maincourses. Both portions where way to small for the price they ask. The fish was max 70gr and the only thing next to it was sweet and smooth. The was nothing with structure. The pork where no racks, but only one small rack, fully overcooked and accompanied by again sweet and smooth garnish. Absolutely awful. The biggest problem is that they try to be fancy, but that they don’t have the capability to do that. Focus more on flavor and less on the looks.
In our opinion is it very clear that those 15 5 star reviews are paid reviews and not a good picture of the real quality
For two drinks, two starters, two mains and some bread we paid over €150. This is nothing worth it. Just a very pretentious...
Read moreKivitos and Executive Chef Christo Pedes clearly are turning heads with Namah. I live in San Francisco and this place is as good if not better than any high end restaurant in my hometown. From the minute we came down the walkway we were enveloped in the breathtaking view of Ornos Bay. We were greeted by the amazing staff Mano, Christo and Andreas and the service was impeccable. Andreas hand picked the 3 Greek wines that where the perfect compliment to our meal. Mano steared us through the menu options and added some great recommendations. The shrimp ceviche was amazing and we rounded out our surf and turf experience with the Pork Rib and the steak. I loved the marrow sauce. Don’t walk. Run to dine at Namah. It was truly a memorable dining...
