We arrived at Apsenti Couples Only Resort and immediately knew we had chosen exactly the right place for us. We were greeted by Stefanos who was welcoming with a relaxed demeanour, the right amount of humour and a big smile. He explained so many things about the hotel, the island of Mykonos, the variety of areas to visit, the bus timetable and recommendations for a cruise and a great bike/hire car company - George’s.||We were given a choice of 2 rooms but we chose 'Love Nest 1' because the sea view was amazing and the private balcony, just gorgeous. Our bags were taken to our room by Aggelos with no fuss or bother.||The room was lovely. Airey, bright, light, perfectly clean and smelling fresh. A really comfortable double bed, crisp white sheets and a light bed cover which was perfect. The air con worked brilliantly however we used the big ceiling fan most of the time as it was very powerful. The safe in the wardrobe was key operated so no messing around with codes to remember. The bathroom, although small, was immaculate and had everything you would need. The shower was simple to use and worked really well, there was always plenty of hot water and the water pressure strong.||Thank you to Tamara and Kobe who took care of all the housekeeping. Every time we returned to our room everything was dazzling, it smelt good, there were plenty of fresh towels for us and everything was pristine.||We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning because it was so nice to sit and enjoy the light breeze under the shaded bamboo in such a peaceful setting. There was plenty of choice on the menu, we tried various dishes like the ‘full English’ style cooked breakfast, the spinach and feta omelette, yoghurt with fruit and walnuts, boiled eggs with salad with toasted bread. I asked for a surprise breakfast on the last morning and was presented with a traditional Greek dish - outstanding. All wonderfully cooked by Maria the cook. ||We were served by Lida the waitress most mornings. A very sweet, graceful young woman who was chatty, elegant and funny. She recommended several quiet beautiful areas to visit and restaurants to try - they were all magnificent.||Thank you also to Mirto, a delightful young lady who also served us breakfast and some daytime snacks too. The light snacks menu is reasonably priced and the food we tried was delicious.||The pool was absolutely stunning, not a hint of salt or chlorine. It was sparkling clear and clean thanks to the maintenance by Aggelos. A handsome, quiet young man who seemed to do everything.....the maintenance, the pool, the gardens, clearing tables, carrying bags....and all so smoothly and quietly.||As an extra note - we hired a small car from George’s Hire Bike/Car Company via the hotel. Brilliant car, fantastic customer service and a angel of a man who we dealt with from the company. Our car was damaged by someone else whilst we were having lunch at a local restaurant. I was stressed with the situation and the thought of losing our deposit because of someone else’s actions. Stefanos and Aggelos helped us, above and beyond what we would’ve expected. Stefanos communicated with ‘George’ and we were able to keep the majority of our deposit. We believe this is just a small example of the compassion, care and integrity which is evident at Apsenti. Thank you to Stefanos for your impeccable communication skills.||This team of young charming people work beautifully well together without the presence of an obvious ‘big boss’ being around. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was relaxed, calm and delightful. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Apsenti. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. ||We loved the balcony and whirlpool overlooking the sea, with our own private bed and sun shade on the balcony. ||The staff were attentive and helpful. The brief from Stefanos was really helpful for getting around Mykonos. We followed several of the recommendations and were not disappointed! The team always bought us drinks as we needed and gave us extra help (such as allowing us to check out later).||The hotels main pool and sun beds are also lovely, and during our stay it was quiet so almost like a second private pool. ||We felt the location was a good location to stay in Mykonos. It is very quick to get to the main areas such as Mykonos Town (15mins on the bus which stops outside the hotel) and the southern beaches (via the water taxi in Ornos); whilst also quiet and only 5mins walk from the best beaches in Agios Ioannis which we found to be just as perfect as the busier southern beaches, but much quieter. We walked into Ornos most days and this is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Most importantly, the hotel is on the southern side of the island so it is a bit more sheltered from the wind than many other places. The main facilities (such as the pool) are also positioned such that they are sheltered from Mykonos’ frequent wind. ||I’d absolutely recommend this hotel, it is one we will definitely be coming back to again! From the moment I arrived, the ambiance immediately made me feel welcomed and relaxed. I only wish I had more days to spare in this lovely hotel.

My room was upgraded for free, which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The room itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The highlight of my stay, however, was the breathtaking sunset view that I enjoyed from my room. It was simply mesmerizing and created a truly unforgettable experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities, making it convenient to explore the beautiful surroundings of Mykonos. The value for money was definitely worth it, considering the overall quality of the experience.

The bathrooms were relatively small. However, this was a small inconvenience compared to the amazing experience I had during my stay.

The hotel's breakfast spread was delightful, offering a variety of tasty options to start my day. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay, making me feel well taken care of.

Overall, Mykonos Hotel Apsenti provided me with a memorable and pleasant stay. The welcoming ambiance, complimentary room upgrade, delicious breakfast, and remarkable sunset views made it a truly special experience.
